Dear Lords and Ladies,

Nine years ago we started a great journey together through Empire:Four Kingdoms. Nine years of intense fighting, new friendships, complex diplomatic decisions and most of all fun!
To celebrate this 9 Year Anniversary with style, we would like to propose a short contest!
At some point in your warrior life, you must have needed the help, advice and support of another lord. Or maybe you faced a fierce enemy that commanded respect.
We believe it is time to pay tribute to the player(s) that left a great mark in your memory.
Bringing back old souvenirs can also give you some great rewards!

The rules:
-> Write a text to pay tribute to a player of your choice
-> Explain why this player left a mark on you
-> The text doesn't have to be long, just express yourself!
->You have to focus on something positive, it’s not the time to settle scores with your worst enemy!
-> Don’t forget to mention the in game name of this player
-> You have to post you comment before the 26th of August 10:00 AM CEST

The prizes:
-> The Moderation team will use a raffle to select 10 players that posted a tribute
-> To be selected, your text has to stick to the rules and the deadline
-> Each selected Player will win 10k rubies for themselves and the player they paid tribute to!

Collect your greatest memories, pick up your quill, and move us with your story to take part in the prize raffle!
Best Regards,

Your Community Management Team!

The players who helped me most when I started have mostly gone, some where alliance members, others hit me and then helped me.  The player I pay tribute to is Thunderstruck (GB1), hit me, left a mark lol, and is now a member of my alliance.

    Hello

I have been playing for many years and have had help from many players but recently one person stands out for her support of me and some tough decisions I had to make.  She is kind, giving, and very knowledgeable about the game.  Her game name is Maeve and I want to thank her for befriending me and taking me under her wing.

    Thank you, Mama Mia

I’ve been playing E4K for many years now and seen friends and players come and go.
One who is valued by me is CoolingJon (gb1), he is selfless and always tries to help upcoming players with hints, tips and resources.
    Thank you Jon.

There was a cool guy called Coolingjon
He works hard and but still plays on,
He helps lots of newer players,
Sending resources to fill their areas,
    Happy he’s part of our team…com’on ! !

  • After returning to the game a couple of years ago, I was significantly behind in how the game had evolved. Whilst there were many in my alliance Eponymous who helped build my knowledge, I'd like to pay tribute to my neighbour NicAM (gb1) who sent lots of resources to help me build up, provided me tips and tricks to do well in comps, and eventually gave me the opportunity to try the game in an elite alliance.

    Thank you NicAM :-)

I have been playing for a long time and the only reason I am still playing is because of Shivkatall. He started the alliance I now hold the crown in but when I was a small player and knew nothing of the game, I was hitting everything with no direction at all. I made a few "acts of war" and was on the verge of being annihilated by him and his alliance. He invited me in before those (at the time and compared to me) massive armies wiped me out. He taught me how to build, how to defend and gave me access to a great group of people. I wish I could nominate all of them but I was about to quit before he invited me as I wasn't figuring it out... He brought me in to a group that made the game fun and who all helped get me where I am today.

  • Thank you to the entrants! You and the player you listed will all be credited soon.
