    What plans are there to manage tools better within the game? (With so many different types of tools now in game, sending an attack, moving tools between main and outposts, and moving tools and troops between worlds, all now take so long to do and find what you need).

    1)any future plan on reduce khan cool down time that above 5 hours cool time is to much consumes skips?
    2)Comanders limit 21 is to low?

    Do you have any plans to provide food (plus wood/stone) in some way for shapeshifter attacks (whether through loot or an event reward structure)?

    Are there any plans in the works to update the rewards for the wheel of fortune and storm islands? The equipment sets and decorative items are much worse than what you can buy with tablets from the nomad shop. And if you do have plans, can we know what they are or how far off they are from being implemented?
  • Is the shifter scoring system going to be reworked again, or is it going to remain in its current form with 32 troop hardmode attacks?
  • What plans do GG have to bring new players into the game?  At the moment there are not enough to replace those leaving

    Do the current promotions changed for offensive units do not disturb the game balance?
    By doubling the rubies, you can buy over 81k veteran demons at a single time.

    I'd like to know if any of the management have ever played the events within the game to the point where they achieve all the rewards for each event (without "cheat" / test mode).

    When are the presets coming? it's been too long a wait for no reason
    When is the wheel of fortune getting new rewards? They are all outdated right now
    Why is there a limit of 150 tools per box in castle to castle transportation? It is just incredibly time consuming for players, again for no reason at all
    When is the shapeshifter event going to get a reasonable point system? The latest might based one is incredibly unfair.
    It discourages people who want to pvp and encourages might stacking.
    Maybe you need adapt the glory system since it seems to be the most reasonable. Or find a system between glory and the first shapeshifter one
    I would love to see answers to this points.

    When are the capital update coming ? Was told it was happening within 2017 . Insted your busy making npc cmnders and other bug events .

    As @Lezley (GB1) Mentioned tools selection is always been a issue, why don't bring up that development, like recent tools in the another section instead of that three menus, Here is the sample for you.






    So that we can select only recent tools which can save our time, and also while selecting waves, whether we want to have auto tools are not, which will help some more time too or based on the selection make use of it what we want.



    Like this so many simple things can be done, and that does save our lots of time. and tools transferring from OP's to Main castle vis verse main castle to ops it too saves our time.

    Commander Limit: 21 is not at all suffice, we cant keep mix set, loot commanders and NPC all together...

    I saw in previous Twitch on Web based developments, where the PO's can be stored all together in one place and can be distributed to wherever we want. Pls. confirm the same development for mobile too.

    There are few players who lost their gem, like me on the quest one, in the Ivory quest i have lost the gem, and your support team proved that i have lost the gem on my own interest, there is nothing they can't do with it. now if i want to complete the full set, where can i avail that gem. this is not only in Quest some of the event commanders also this is applicable. What kind of excuse i can expect for this requirement?

    How is it acceptable that our community manager (alpinolo) picks and chooses what questions he replies to on the forum?
    Many tagged questions on the forum get ignored, and the poor voluntary mods have to pick up the pieces.

  • Can the decoration offer where you are offered a festival square if you buy rubies in the next 24 hours be updated? Festival square is a rather weak deco now, and probably does not persuade many people to buy rubies when they get the offer.

    Are there still plans to update the way in which commander and castellan stats are displayed within the game? (Garb of emerald legends commander is worst for readability (2 whole pages of duplicated stats and some combinations show caps correctly)).

    Two different threads on this Forum say opposing things (Samwise says set effect - and hero effects - are not constrained by caps; while in another thread a player has presented evidence that they are constrained by caps).
  • Who decides whether an event should be cancelled? The game balancers?

    Perhaps too much focus on in-game balance and not enough on customer satisfaction. Destroy the game for the month for every single player because some players have found and exploit and it is leading to a temporary imbalance. Must be an unfathomably massive imbalance to take such extreme action.
  • Will (and when) event rankings for Legendary players be divided into levels 1 to 500 and levels 501+?

    It was answered in the equipment caps thread. Set bonuses and hero effects are capped, but a lot of heroes and set bonuses use different stats, such as ranged against npc targets instead of just generic ranged, so they are not counted in the ranged cap. The hero effects were never answered, because the bloodcrow’s generic glory stat is counted in cap, while the lady of light’s generic gate stat goes over the cap.

    Thanks. OK, new question: Is it a bug that some set and hero effects aren't constrained by caps and GGS intends to correct this in future?
    And will this change be announced or will it just happen without telling players (as when gems became constrained by caps).

    Hello everyone .  Exciting first Twitch experience.  We are learning from that one , but I think the next time will be much better . Please be sure to ask your questions in English next time since it is an English live stream. There are a few things to learn from the first time doing this even for me as I screen the questions for English speaking and no fowl language  , but I think we can improve on much and get all all questions answered . Next time we will be better prepared . Anyways good job to all who participated.  To the small amount that used offensive language or put downs you were given a time out for that.  For the small amount that did that please do not do it again . If you have a question please ask it in a polite manner  so it can be answered . All said well done everyone .     Dear Community,

    On the 04th of April 2018 we published a Twitch-Stream for our Empire players in English and we want to provide you with a summary in your language. 

    You can also watch the Q&A session again here


    1st Question: For E4K: Moving tools in castles in the Green kingdom takes too long. Now that you win and you redeem in the events there is a bunch of tools you need to move and it takes a long time. Could you change it?


    So that is a really nice idea that we see from the community and this is one of the things that we want to take a look at. So first of course, not only a design decision, we also need to take a look on the tech side, to see what we can do. But yes, we understand what the problem is, that you guys want to mitigate with this proposal. So yes, we are absolutely going to take a look at that.


    2nd Question: The fact that to change castellan to a castle you need to disassemble and reassemble it is unintuitive and not very quick. Is there maybe a way or a system you can think of that will mitigate this problem?    


    Yeah so we can say that one of our main focuses for 2018 is how we handle equipment in Empire. So you guys are going to have quite a lot of news coming soon, regarding what is going to be the next stage for how we handle equipment on Empire and these are all ideas that we are collecting from you guys, that we are going to bring to the table when we are designing those features. So if you have more stuff like that please keep it coming. We bring all these informations with us to our brainstorming sessions, where we are defining what we are going to do and as we told you: regarding equipment expect some cool news very very soon.


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: When will we have the ability to move the decos?


    The system that we are going to put together now for equipment, it will also be shared to a certain degree with decorations and how we handle decorations on Empire. So right now we cannot go into a lot of detail regarding what that is going to be, but you can expect that soon. We are going to have another Stream where then we will talk quite in detail regarding what our plans for equipment and decorations for the rest of the year will look like.


    3rd Question: Selling equipment one at a time is too tedious and takes too long, a multiple selection would be ideal, is there something that you can do about it?


    So as we said, this one ties quite nicely with what we were mentioning previously regarding the equipment and one of the things that we are also taking a look at is to the equipment screen and what can be done to improve the usability and to make basically everything easier for our players. And we are not only taking a look at the equipment screen, we are also taking a look at things like the battle screen and so on. We are always trying to find, what the places are that we can not only increase the convenience for the players but also to make things way more straight forward and easier to understand also especially for the new players. You guys are playing Empire for years now, so you already know and understand quite well how everything works but we understand that Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms can be quite daunting games for a new user. So that is part of what we are doing for this year. We are also taking a look at what kind of screens we have in the game that we can simplify/streamline and adding filters, basically making the life of the players easier in terms of how they sort equipment and so on.    


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: When are we having attack templates on E4K?


    So yes, that is currently in our plans and you guys are going to know more about that soon.                           


    4th Question:  When will it be able to store the entire set of equipment with one set and not individual parts.


    So with the equipment, they work as a group so this is not a thing that we have in our plans right now so that you can store the different pieces on different inventories. So that is not anything that we have in our plans right now.


    5th Question: What about equipment inflation - can you tell us something more about it?


    We have quite a few questions that also relate to this, so as we’re quite sure you guys have realized during especially the last half of the year, we are more aggressive in terms of new sets and bringing new sets to you guys. So we are basically going into a more power creep scenario with the game and that’s why we are also taking care of all this new cool stuff regarding how we handle equipment. So that are quite a few worries from some of you players regarding the new equipments and the new sets that we provide are not as powerful as they were in the past and that is not really the case. So basically we now have a different strategy: in the past the sets were built to be more generic so that you can use them everywhere and now our focus is to specialise more in sets. As an example you have the new nomad set, so in terms of catering to all sort of different player profiles, so that you can also devise new sorts of different strategies based on the sets that you have. That’s a very big topic for us, because we really like this idea of this different sets combinations to allow players to have a new metagame-layer that is all about you selecting what is the best set for the event that you are playing.               


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: What about old super commanders?


    We are taking all this feedback with us, so when we continue on an ongoing basis to select what we are going to be working on next, but this is one thing that is very important for us and that will also tie with the equipment and decorations. So for instance there are also quite a few questions regarding “Okay… I have old equipment sets that are useless now, I have all these gems that are useless now” and just to give you a spoiler: they are going to be very very useful, so coming in the summer there is going to be a really nice feature that is going to take advantage of all those old equipments that you guys have, which are not powerful enough anymore and all those gems!
    So we are making sure that we bring new stuff into the game, because we want to keep the game evolving over time, but we are also paying attention very carefully to everything that you guys already have from the past.            


    6th Question: Are you planning to add new 5-piece equipment sets in the future? Question specification: In rewards there’s a big amount of gems, but nearly none equipment on which it’d make sense to put these gems.


    So based on the previous answer: You guys wait a little bit more, because we are going to have a really cool feature, regarding where you can use all that old equipment and those old gems. And in terms of the 5-piece sets, that is not part of our strategy right now. In the future we are going to bring them back, but now we are focused on the 9-piece sets.     


    7th Question: When will you depart from the Commander Sets (and castellan sets respectively) and allow the players to configure creatively again? And in such a way that you can create better commanders based on your own skill, rather than the standard ones.


    That is part of the ongoing discussion that we are having currently. But it is a very good idea. We think that we are all up for bringing more creativity into the game for all players to be more creative, regarding how they play the game or devise their own strategies. So we are all up for that. We have a limited amount of time every day and every year, but we are going to try to do the most of this type of stuff, bringing this creativity into the game and what we were discussing previously regarding this cool feature that we are going to have for decorations and for equipment, it will bring a lot of that into the game.     


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: What about the move from Flash to HTML5?


    Yes, so we have a dedicated team that is working on that and we will have more news for you guys quite soon.


    8th Question: Will pvp sets be given as rewards at LTPE events?


    Not for the time being.


    9th Question:  Have you ever considered the possibility of introducing of "token" for Technicus?  


    This also ties with the equipment upgrade and all that, so as we said this is a big topic that we are working on right now and the “Token” for the Technicus will be one way of dealing with that. We have some more creative things coming up, but we are always taking this feedback into consideration and as we progress with our current strategy in terms of equipment, there we can see what else makes sense and which time to bring those things to the game. There is no shortage of plans for how to make equipment more valuable and matter more to the players. There is no shortage of plans there is only a shortage of time, because we are working on so much stuff, but we need to focus first on what can bring a bigger value to our players. But we have a roadmap regarding what we want to do with equipments, decorations and so on, so we want to have the system evolving over time and also of course when we release that globally, we want to hear your guys feedback regarding how you like them, what you want to see changing, so that it’s going to be an always evolving group of systems that we are currently working on.                 


    10th Question: Will there be any changes in the Bloodcrows and Alien invasion?


    There is going to be some big changes coming in the second half of the year, that are going to impact all the major events that we have in the game and they are more about increasing the competitiveness of the event. So yes, there is going to be changes in the Bloodcrows and in the Alien Invasion and also in Samurai and Nomads for example, but those things are going to be basically optional in the game. You can still play the events as you have them now, but you are going to have these extra addons on top that are going to increase and improve not only your gameplay experience, but also the type of rewards that you can get.              


    11th Question: I wanted to ask if and when changes are expected for the storm island?


    Storm Islands are part of those events, that we call the Legacy events and the big problem right now is, that we want to readapt them, so that they are more in tune with the way our other events work. So  we want to modernise them. Right now they are not on the top of our prio, but yes this is something that we want to tackle too.


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: When can we see the Bladecoast again?


    We are considering these events as part of the same package and we have already some really good ideas what we want to do with them, in terms of them being more attractive not only in terms of gameplay, but also in terms of the rewards that you can collect. We have cool plans for that, but we sadly don’t have any date to tell you guys.       


    12th Question: When will various rewards, which are outdated for players of lvl70+ be adapted? 

    That is something that we are doing on an ongoing basis, which is to revamp the rewards pools across our events. Things like the Wheel of Fortune get a little bit more problematic than revamping first the reward pool for the Nomads or the Samurai, but we have it on our radar, so we have every month those frequent updates, where you have new reward pools for events. So you can be sure that in the future we are also going to touch things like the Wheel of Fortune, the Missions and so on.           


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: Any plans to increase the update level of the hall of legends?


    This ties with what we are discussing right now under “endgame content”. Yes, that’s a thing we want to do. We want to bring more challenge to the endgame of Empire. We understand that quite a few of you guys and the gamers told us, that you don’t have enough challenge, so that is something which is also part of our plans.     


    13th Question: Does GGS plan to distribute more farming tools and more decorations (ca. 270 PO) for builders who are done with their castle? It will get boring to only get 1 decoration piece per event. (Farming tools can only be bought during Shapeshifter). The aforementioned decoration pieces are only available at Berimond, Nomad/Khan or Top1 Alliance ranking in the events.


    As we mentioned previously, we are working on something to make the decorations more appealing, so you guys are going to know more details about that soon. In terms of farming tools: that is a really nice idea and we are going to take that into consideration when we define the next month, so thank you for that!     


    14th Question: Are there any changes for the time skip concept planned (5h or alternatively 24h skips)?


    The timeskips were a big change in the game and we have collected feedback from all of you guys and we continue monitoring all that on an ongoing basis, so right now in terms of how the timeskips are distributed in the reward pools there are no plans, but there are things that we want to bring into the game, which is like the possibility for you being able to use a timeskips inbox. So imagine instead that you need to click one by one; you will be able to slide and select them as a group and of course, the way the timeskips are distributed in the reward pools right now doesn’t mean that it is going to be like that in a few months. So we will take into consideration how you guys are reacting to the changes, taking into consideration all the feedback, so what is now can change in a couple of months. 
    That is also why we are sometimes fairly reactive, because we want to take all your feedback in and that’s also why sometimes it is very hard for us to specify dates. That is something that we can rarely do really. We do our best to bring the things that we feel are most important to you as soon as possible, but there are of course limits. The game is so big and the features are so vast that we have to make a selection and then sometimes of course it happens that particular features that you care about are a little bit behind. So that will always happen and that will probably also happen for all of the really good suggestions that we got. For some it’s simply not possible at the moment to say anything to and for some we will have to see. Something that we do is that we are always reviewing the ideas that you guys send us, so we have meetings on an ongoing basis where we just go through all the suggestions and the ideas that you guys send us and of course we have a roadmap for the product and we are always evaluating what for us seems the best, because it is important that what we do has a very positive impact - from user perspective - from you guys and we pay very close attention to what you have to say in form of feedback and criticism of our updates. So for instance an example for our Shapeshifter event: When the Shapeshifter event was released we got the feedback from quite a lot of you that the points calculation was not clear and how are points distributed, so we changed it and we simplified it a lot, we streamlined it. So we are always taking into consideration the feedback that you guys have, not only in terms of what we release but also what we present you guys in terms of what we want to do in the future.                                         


    15th Question: How are the enemy points awarded in the Attack of the Shapeshifters?


    The points are based on the amount and quality of the defenders killed as well as the strength of your enemy, so this is how the points are calculated and now if we talk about the charms for defenders, then that is based on the amount and on the quality of attackers and how well a player defended against that attack. So this is how the new points formula works right now, so it is way more straightforward than we had in the beginning. So we collected the feedback, our Community Managers talked about it with the Moderators and all that and then we came up with something that for us makes the event feel quite challenging, but also much easier to understand.    


    16th Question: In the Alliance tournament, when the player changes the alliance, the player's event points are not added to the points of the new alliance. We want this feature to be in other events too. Can this be done?


    As we think you want this feature to be in other events too: we also want that! So this is definitely something that we are going to take a deeper look into on the tech side of things. So thank you once again for the very cool idea.     


    17th Question: When will the hospital be redesigned (Option between ruby and non-ruby troops)?


    This is something that is currently on our radar, but we don’t have a timeframe for that right now, regarding how and when we are going to do this.      


    18th Question: Is it possible to further enlarge the resource storehouse? (It's filled to the brim on one day and empty the other)


    Yes it is possible. We have quite a big feature, that will come later one. This is one of the things that is going to be tackled by that.  


    19th Question: Is there an approach to design the starvation of troops in some other way or are we set on how it works right now?


    Right now we are set to how that works and this is a topic that appears very scarcely from the community, so if you guys have a deeper feeling about this topic and have some cool ideas, please send them to us.

     

    20th Question: Why is the main castle the weakest place, when most of attacks go there, considering the food production? Wouldn't it makes sense to have bigger production there?


    Let’s talk about the big feature that we have planned for later on. This is also one of the things that is going to be tackled in this topic.   


    21st Question: When will we have a tournament for capitals?


    Right now there are no plans which revolve around the capitals and all that, so that is under our radar, so this is something we want to tackle, but with this type of event we are not truly happy with the implementation that was done initially. We want to make them better, we want to improve them, so that’s quite a hefty amount of work. We are going to take a look at that, putting together ideas and strategies and hopefully soon you guys are going to have some more news from our end. Sadly it’s not always easy ripping out the thing, fixing it and putting it back in. There are a lot of players who are already invested in this features and we simply cannot take it away, even if it is for a while and then bringing it back in. There are a lot of things that have to be considered. And the thing is that we are also taking into consideration that the game has also changed quite a bit over the time. Not only in terms of gameplay, but also how the economy of the game behaves and all that. So we need to take all those things into consideration before, because it is not just a matter of turning the switch on and the royal capitals are in the game, so that is not how it works, because it is quite a hefty amount of work involved for us, to be able to do that. And that ties in with another question that we have, which is regarding Berimond.                    


    22nd Question: When will Berimond be fully playable again, meaning that the opposing capital can actually fall?


    This is currently in our plans for the end of the year and it is going to be tied with the revamp which we mentioned earlier on which we are going to do for our major events. So the “new” Berimond will already incorporate this gameplay mechanics that we are putting together.    


    23th Question: Any news about private villages?


    We know that this is a topic which is ongoing with you guys. It is also a topic that we will be able to see in the game soon, but right now it is not on our top priority, so we will get there, but right now - as we said - our focus is on how we handle equipment, how we handle decorations and so on. But yes, we will get there!        


    24th Question: When will it be possible to confirm expenditure of rubies at purchase of equipment, tools, suppression of camps, building and demolition of buildings


    We think that for us this is a problem which is bigger on the ruby purchase, so this is something that is on our radar in terms of having a confirmation screen for you to say that you have a popup to confirm if you want to spend that x-amount of rubies. This will be something that is optional, so you can go to the settings to the option that just toggles it on and off if you want to get that. So this something which we would like to do, but as i said we have quite a long roadmap and this one is right now very low on the priority.     


    Twitch Stream Chat Question: Do you have any plans for old buildings like the metropolis or the capital? In the time, they lost their worth, any plan to increase the number of commanders?


    Regarding the metropolis and the capital: That is not a thing right now. 
    In terms of increasing the number of commanders and all that: Yes, that is a thing that we are going to be doing!

    Right now there are no news which we can tell you guys regarding the Wishing Well.

    Regarding the change from a glory event to a long term point event: It was basically due to the glory exploit that we had with the event, but you guys are quite worried of course regarding the PvP and what we are going to do with the PvP in the game. So currently we are putting together quite a lot of ideas with which we really want to improve the PvP in the game and we want to make the whole PvP more exciting, more rewarding. So we are going to come back with some news for you guys soon!

    Yes, attack presets on E4K is something that we also want to bring to the game, hopefully we are going to have that soon.   


    Twitch Stream Comment on the legendary levels for level 70+:


    That is correct, that it is not really a fair game, when you are level 70 and you are matched with for example an legendary level 200, because he will inevitable just crush you. What we did and you guys may have already noticed is, that with the events sets we have refined during the last few months with Nomads and Samurai and so on - where we expand the reward pools, etc. -  we also unified the level brackets, so that now they are shared across the events and going further. Because with this topic we tackle from level 1 to level 69, it also makes sense to tackle level 70 and onwards. Imagine we have a level range between level 70 and level 100 and you are matched with players on that range and then so on in that scaling. So that for us is a very exciting thing that we would really like to do. It is an incredibly huge task in terms of balancing for us to do that, so that is something which we are going to have on the table for sure, once we are finished with the work which we are doing for the events and the decorations and with the equipment. But it makes total sense, because you want to have a fair challenge.     


    Twitch Stream Comment on the extinguishing fires in your castle:


    That is something that we are taking a look at in terms of what we are going to do with that. 
    So that is also another topic, which is currently on our table.  


    Twitch Stream Comment on the Wheel of fortune rewards:


    As we mentioned previously, changing the rewards for the Wheel of fortune is way more difficult for us from the tech side, than revamping the reward pools for your whole major events, as weird as that may sound, but we are talking about quite old legacy features that we have in the game and that is something that we want to touch in the future.

    In terms of planning we are always trying different time runs for the Shapeshifter, so that we see which one is fitting better with our players. So right now our sweet spot is running the Shapeshifter between 5 to 7 days.


    Twitch Stream Question: Are you planning to improve the tutorial in order to emphasize the importance of towers?


    The tutorial is something which is currently not on our radar.


    Twitch Stream Question: When will we have new Samurai rewards on E4K?


    As we said, part of our strategy is to revamp reward pools for events on an ongoing basis, so you can be sure that you are going to have an update on your reward pool very soon, also because these cool new features, which we are going to do for decorations and equipments they are also going to require some cool new stuff to be added to the reward pools.
