Forcing players to buy ruby ???
All are not with big pockets Okk
If you will not care about players
Players will leave
First issue, the fact that these troop packs are on sale 24/7 removes the (special offers) aspect because its just items on sale 24/7....
Second issue, since the packages are on sale all the time, the strategy aspects of the game have been removed completely, there's no point in preparing or planning for wars, when in fact you won't be warring using in-game aspects you will be at war with the players ability to spend. Now anyone can be number one in the server, you just need a credit card and a few clicks.
Third issue, in general server growth has been a big issue in this forum lately, there's countless threads and comments about it, raising concerns and giving GGe feedback on what should be done. By having the packs on sale 24/7 GGE is affecting server growth more than ever, how hard is it to understand that a players with endless funds do in fact trigger a spending chain by micro buyers, but that chain has a limit... Let me explain it as if GGE was a 12 year old. There are two types of players that GGE cares about so I will explain the harm in economic terms these packages in sale 24/7 are doing...
Player A (Minority) = Big disposable income
(Player A, the big buyers, can buy the packages in repeat, this gives them the ability to invincible, these buyers are the least profitable to GGE because there aren't many)
Player B (Mayority) = Small disposable income
(Player B represents all other micro buyers, the ones that can afford to spend a limited amount in the game, these players are in the thousands and represent the biggest profits for GGE)
Bellow is the chain of events...
1) When Player A (big buyers) buys these packages and attack Player B (micro-buyers),
2) Player B buys what they are able since they have limited disposable income, and defends a few attacks from Player A.
3) Player A buys more packages just because they can afford to, and continues to hit Player B
4) Player B can't purchase anymore and gets farmed endlessly by Player A
5) Player B realizes that it's pointless to war Player A or play the game and enters protection mode or quits.
This might seem like a good economic strategy at first to GGe because since the packages are new still they see economic growth, but in fact it's killing the micro-buyers which are the mayority and gives the most earnings to GGE.... There are only a hand full of big buyers, but there's thousands of micro-buyers that outweigh their earnings ten fold...
Soon GGE will see a sudden down fall in micro-purchases by that time, most micro-buyers will have quit or entered protection mode. Hence giving GGE a percentage drop in their quarterly financials.
it doesn't take a university degree to see that having those packages in sale 24/7 is not smart economics.
