Yes, it is the EXACT same feature as the Relic Greenhouse, but with a GREEN roof and SILVER framework.

Upgrades get a bit pricey:

To build a level 1 takes 25 Build / 113 Upgrade tokens and 30 minutes build time.

Level 2  =  25/113 + 1  hour
Level 3  =  25/113 + 1.5 hours
Level 4  =  25/113 + 2 hours
Level 5  =  25/113 + 2.5 hours
Level 6  =  50/300 + 3 hours
Level 7  =  50/300 + 3.5 hours
Level 8  =  50/300 + 4 hours
Level 9  =  50/300 + 4.5 hours
Level 10 =  50/300 + 5 hours
Level 11 = 100/500 + 5.5 hours
Level 12 = 100/500 + 6 hours
Level 13 = 100/500 + 6.5 hours
Level 14 = 100/500 + 7 hours
Level 15 = 100/500 + 7.5 hours
Level 16 = 200/950 + 8 hours
Level 17 = 200/950 + 8.5 hours
Level 18 = 200/950 + 9 hours - I did not have enough upgrade tokens for level 18.  
I figure the odds are good that Level 19 will follow suit and be 200/950 + 9.5 hours.
WILL Level 20 be a simple end at 200/95 + 10 hours?  Possibly.  But, they could give the surprise ending as well.

I hope one of you has a few more tokens than I did, and can complete this listing for me...…….

We don't need more food in the game.  How many times do we need to tell you this?  There's way too much food for the game balance as it is.  Since you guys don't listen to us, I assume this will be in the main game in a couple of weeks with the next 'update.'
