Update 08/12/2016 - Rebalancing Attack and defence

Dear Lords and Ladies,

Tomorrow at about 11 am CET we will update the testserver and release the first version of the attack and defence rebalancing. Most of all it is a long list of numbers/statistics that will change and effect your experience of gameplay. Feedback on how it feels is really important here, so don't hesitate to share your views on it in the feedback section.

Here's the list of changes we will release to the server tomorrow:

General Changes for units
  • Food consumption of defenders was decreased by 1
  • Increased the Glory for all units by 100% when they get killed by the defender
  • Secondary stats of defending units increased
New values for defenders:
  • Halberdier: previous range defence: 45  new range defence: 54
  • Veteran spearman: previous range defence: 52  new range defence: 62
  • Veteran halberd: previous range defence: 55  new range defence: 66
  • Longbowman: previous melee defence: 51  new melee defence: 61
  • Veteran bowman: previous melee defence: 59  new melee defence: 71
  • Veteran longbowman: previous melee defence: 61  new melee defence: 73
  • Sentinel of the kingsguard: previous range defence: 59  new range defence: 70
  • Scout of the kingsguard: previous melee defence: 64  new melee defence: 75

  • Veteran halberd: 1625s -> 1375s
  • Veteran bowman: 1500s -> 1300s
  • Veteran longbowman: 1515s -> 1315s
  • Sentinel of the kingsguard: 1650s -> 1400s
  • Scout of the kingsguard: 1530s -> 1330s
Some of the researchable offensive units are not really used anymore, so recruitment time and costs were reduced to make them valuable again
  • Veteran maceman: recruitment time: 1720s -> 900s and
    recruitment costs: 230 -> 100
  • Veteran twohandedsword: recruitment time: 1760s -> 1200s and recruitment costs: 250 -> 165
  • Veteran crossbowman: recruitment time: 1660s -> 840s and recruitment costs: 230 -> 100
  • Veteran heavycrossbowman: recruitment time: 1690s -> 1140s and recruitment costs: 220 -> 150
Changes for gems: increased the effect of the ‘Gem of the rampart’(increase the amount of units on the wall):
  • level 1: 1% -> 2%
  • level 2: 2% -> 3%
  • level 3: 3% -> 4%
  • level 4: 4% -> 5%
  • level 5: 5% -> 6%
  • level 6: 6% -> 7%
  • level 7: 7% -> 9%
  • level 8: 8% -> 11%
  • level 9: 9% -> 13%
  • level 10: 10% -> 15%
  • level 11: 11% -> 17%
  • level 12: 12% -> 19%

Changes for gems: increased the effect of the ‘Gem of the rebellion’ (increase fight strength in the courtyard for the defender):

  • level 6: 6% -> 7%
  • level 7: 7% -> 8%

Changes for Legend Skills:
  • Increased the effect of the ‘Nerves of steel’ (increase the unit amount on the wall) skill from 10% to 15%
