Don't build dwellings for taxes. In the long run, taxes are a piddling amount of your income.

The absolute best way to get coins is attack robber barons, Norsemen, etc. RBC's give the least (about 1K-2k), and cultist towers give the most (12k+). NEVER trade away your resources. It's a complete rip off.
-
This glitch only occurs when attacking from your main castle.
-
Archers and swordsman are very important in your defense. Also use bowman and spearman. (They eventually become veterans that are stronger than longbowman and halberdiers.)
-
I think the keep upgrade to level four is to help you upgrade your towers to level 4 faster.
-
Try to refrain from putting ruby buildings in outposts because people can take outposts from other players. The better buildings an outpost has, the more likely someone will take it.
-
Use macemen when attacking: Maceman, bowman Use crossbowman when attacking: crossbowman, spearman Use either against farmers.
-
They don't just give you soldiers, they also give you gold and rubies. Also, the traveling knights only give soldiers, and I hear nobody complaining about them. Just be glad they actually gave us something fun to do.

This should be in the alliance news thread. Read the rules of the forum, and it says NO UNRELATED POSTING!

The game is too strongly structured on the current resources to add a new one.
-
Just live with it. If you get robber baron attacks, it's because your castle is too peaceful. This is a medieval SIEGE game for crying out loud, not a build your happy city game!!

I think we should leave well enough alone. The rewards are in a specific order, for a specific reason: To get people to log on every day. If this "wheel" is added it may give large rewards to people who don't deserve them. Someone who logs on once a week could get all the good rewards, while the person who logs on daily…

It actually works differently. As long as you follow the goals, and keep the attacks going up there, you should have no problem, because the resources from your conquest will help develop the camp, which will in turn support the conquest. Also, the only thing you should send up is troops, because the resources have too…

There are a few problems with this. Not many people have the time to sit down for an hour to play a board game on the computer. (And very few people with the time have the necessary attention span). Also, if you can bet rubies/coins, it means they can be exchanged between accounts, and with the way the game works it is…

The preview looks like the castles on the map are modified robber barons.

I recommend not trying to be inactive to get rubies for a few reasons: 1. If you don't have a high enough level, your castle can be ruined in 1 month 2. Everyone will steal all your resources, and light a bunch of fires that will take a month to repair 3. All your soldiers will be slaughtered 4. You'll most likely get…

When you unlock the map, you will occasionally obtain map pieces from robber barons.

False. Apparently we're not in the same world. next poster will have celebrated a holiday.

If it was like this, your resources should have a bigger percent increase over time. Example: If I put in and removed my stuff daily, I would get 25%/week, rather than 5%/week. Maybe they could have factors to increase, like an alliance, except for each player. It might work with some thought put into it.

What would you need to do to take out the guards? Some people have worked really hard on getting many guards (Luke Fierysword), and also, something would have to happen to the empty guardhouses. I don't think this is practical.
