New attack setup

Finally GGE have found a way to realy upset the majority of players. Whoever designed this new attack set up must be trying to KILL THE GAME. Utter rubbish. I for one will not even bother to try and attack anything. It takes far too long to set up any attack, the AUTO function only seems to send ranged troops and fills all slots with tools leaving no room for anything else.

You are not 100% correct

Personally, I was not affected by this update at all, and on the contrary, the new attack interface is tidy and much more beautiful than the previous one

This has to be the worst change I have ever seen from this game.
I don't care that there are going to be some that like this change, I will bet that there are more that dislike it.
There is no chance for a learning curve. We have to either get it or loose food, troops, and other points of the game. I seriously do not like the layout or how to setup at all.

BRING BACK THE OLD WAY

This explains all the problems with food frozen and such this past week. No glitch in the game just GGE making changes without letting everyone know what they were really up to.

We must be on a different planet then!. I have been asking many alliances and they all feel that this was a terrible idea and will ruin the game. Any attacks now take excessive time and total waste of tools and manpower.
Totally typical of GGE to change a perfectly good sysem for one that is just plain labor intensive.

If GGE wish to flush this game down the toilet then they are accomplishing it very well!.

I hate this new setup!
I actually have to use a magnifying glass to see some of what I am doing and even then the battle setup is horrible, and I have issues placing troops and tools, I cannot make heads or tails of this setup and now all the attacks and defense setups don't work right and loose more troops and tools than ever!

It took someone 31 minutes to setup a samari attack

Yeah but if you're a 38 year old Disabled person like I am that has vision issues then you'd be using the magnifying glass like I have to bloody do lol

You need to give a new system a chance, you're never going to get good at using it if you refuse to use it. The new system can be faster than the old one. You just don't want it to do. I most certainly agree it still needs so changes, but they are coming.

What knucklehead thought the NEW way of setting up attacks? You WANT people to leave the game? Cause changing things that SHOULD be added or changed-good. Make it more difficult to do a simple attack? I will, after over six years or playing (and paying) this game, leave. Don't waste my time.

I cant give the new attack screen a chance as it is way to small to see.So to me game is now unplayable, after 9 years of playing i will have to quit

I've given it a chance. I don't have 20/20 vision or a 50 inch screen. It takes at LEAST 3x longer to set up an attack than it used to. I hit as many sams as I could, bearing in mind I can't afford to lose 100 - 150 troops per hit on average (yes, that has been fixed, but that's not the point). I have hit dozens of towers and now many BCs. And it still takes me at least 3x as long to send each attack. It's incredibly frustrating.

I hated it to begin, but thought "well, it's new, I'll get used to it and it'll be kinda the same as before". I tried it, and it got a BIT faster to set up, but kinda the same? It's not. It's near impossible for me to see what troops I'm using - especially with all the levels (the teeny tiny number in the corner is hard enough for me to see when recruiting or healing, let alone when the entire icon is only 2mm across.

I'm yet to work out how it can be faster. The only way it can be, I think, is if you can afford to buy a preset for each and every wave of each and every thing you want to hit. And can be arsed changing them constantly for whatever the current event is.

I can't see what I'm trying to use (troops or tools). I have to spend half my life searching for the tool I want because even tools I can't use are in the mix (on flanks I have to scroll past the vast number of gate tool types, to find the range tool types) - and then have to start again for the next section ... lordy, it's more fun watching grass grow than setting up an attack. My general doesn't get anywhere near the xp others do (either per hit or in number of hits). The whole thing is just frustrating, when it's supposed to be a game - and games are supposed to be fun. Games are supposed to be relaxing, not increase the blood pressure because NOTHING. FRIGGIN. WORKS!

Please, please, please get them to fix it. :-)

yes thats the same for me
i cant see the troops or tools and to mess it up more it shows defence troops and tools at the same time

make the pictures bigger
seperate attackers/tools from defence troops/tools like we had before

I didn't say it was, I would just like to know what size he uses as I am on a 13 inch laptop and don't have these issues.

I got a 19" monitor and by the time the Ads on the top and side take there area I guess I am down to a 16" or 17" at best.

Your tutorial pictures are a good size. How do we get ours to be that big?

The boxes are just too small. Maybe if they enlarge the boxes when you select them or maybe the whole line get bigger while you are working on that wave till you move to the next wave.

I sort of get the setup but it is just so hard to read the numbers for many of us. That and they could have kept the presets on the left side with the commanders it seems. No need to have the "General" so big and everything else sort of small.
