    I have a few questions relating to the current update and would appreciate if some light could be shined into it.

    So...first of all.....what is the support buttom for these days?

    We cant support each other? Even RTS can't be stacked anymore not even capitals or metros which attackers have a great adavantage against. Castles would of made more sense.

    As for assets? With RTS how you expected to defend that? 

    Moving on. Even with higher numbers on walls a lot of troops still make it to courtyard, how are you expected to defend against 22k hits with 7k troops-8k in the cy?

    Also  players burn and lose honor after every hit, defending is hardly possible. Would it not make more sense not to burn until all your castle troops are gone? For those that hold mead, burning after every single hit, means food goes negative, therefore if food runs out/honey runs out, they starve.

    On top of that what do you advise doing to increase courtyard numbers.

    Honestly this update has made a lot of things done prior to this obsolete*
    everyone can burn everyone now.

    I used the preset screen, tried and tried, but when I click apply preset, it tells me I have to purchase another one... no it don't work for me

    Done trying.

    The studio is still working on a way to implement support.
    RTs is a known issue.
    I don't expact enyone to be able to defend himself in the current state, I hope changes are made swiftly.
    We've suggested only very minor fires and honour loss if the defender still has troops in his castle after the battle, this hasn't made it into the game yet.

    PRESETS -- Yes you will have to buy more OR change the preset every time you  change the attack. So for sams you need tools on wave one, and chests on the rest of the waves.  I was lucky to have all my presets, but it still took me 30 minutes to change it from nomads to Samuari tools and chests. This has slowed the game back so much that I don't want to play it -- and I've been a loyal player -- who used to spend money.  Hmmmm . . . won't being buying rubies. I'm going on strike!

    NOTHING BUT COMPLAINTS IN MY ALLIANCE -- SO FAR! I MEAN PLAYERS ARE REALLY UPSET!

    Also because defending is totally out of control.

    Surely that would impact events like nomads and specifically taunting the khan as well.

    Particularly for those that have trains running at them.

    Hopefully gets addressed soon, but lots of margin for errors.

    I can't even seem to use the 1 preset I have, I put chests for sams in all, save it, and then when I go to the next wave and apply, it doesn't, tells me to buy more...

    So the attack interface is nearly unusable, nobody can defend anything any more, your alliance buddies can no longer support you in the event of an attack, bloodcrows was broken to the point it had to be withdrawn after a half hour and now sams is broken as well and we lose 5 times (or more) the troops we used to lose. 

    And this was "update of the century"? Well done, you've excelled yourselves this time. But hey, at least I can choose my comm for stationing troops again, so they fixed ONE of the issues ... 
  • It's hard to tell what is new and what is a glitch...

    Am I supposed to be losing 10X's the attackers on a Sami than I normally did?
    Are attacks supposed to take several minutes to set up when I used to be able to send dozens in the same time span?
    Is the attack setup page supposed to be this clunky? Did you really change to this on purpose?
    Are there no longer troops in the courtyard of FC's/BC's? Is the event going to ever last more than an hour.

    This update is a disaster. Maybe GGE is doing me a favor and it really is time to move on from this game.

    Sorry if I am rude about it, but minor fires and honour loss are not an alternative to the current state of the game. After multiple changes and amount of troops going up being able to only use a few because that's what GGS decided overnight is not a fix. Because what they did in this update they just unbalanced everything again. Previously to this update, you could barely attack and do damage because of millions of defenders and support, after the update, you are unable to defend because of the limitation of defenders. Things just kept going in a weird direction and after this update, many people will complain and might stop playing.

  • Update of the century.. more like fook up of the century. Cant work out whose the bigger idiot the muppet who concieved this or the muppet who approved it.

    Games supposed to be fun... easy to understand simple to operate and afterwards some sense of satisfaction. Not here. The attack screen is too complicated over enginereed and frankly not worth the effort of spending 20 mins figuring it out. Sending a space probe to mars would be easier. If i wanted to spend my time trying to solve problems and going round in circles id enroll in some theoretical maths degree.

    Defence... whats the point. You cant do anything with 5k troops v 12k hits.

    No point of alliance membership as support doesnt work. No point of getting decos to increase food to increase troop numbers or buying packs if your maxed at 5k despite holding 400k. No point in getting those little buffs to increase food/mead for the same reason.. In fact why would you bother investing your game to get 50m mp when you get turned over by almost anyone with a simple attack. Actually theres no point to the game.

    So with half the lands in ruins due to exodus of the playing base pre update and the rest going dove in the hope this farce gets resolved the future looks really great.

    i have the same problem when i go from npc coms to pvp coms so i just use npc for towers

    The fact that they didn't even test this update on FL/BC's says so much about how GGS works and how much they know about their own game

    Good to know GGE really planned out the update, so they spent all this time hyping up the update, struggling to implement it and then havent got a clue about the rest of it. do the developers sit round in circles deciding how to destroy the game further?

    Did someone not look at the UI in the design process and actually try using it? Apart from the fact you need to use a magnifying glass to see anything it takes so much longer. Absolutely pointless update from GGE with no benefits since they haven't even bothered to work out all the mechanics yet trying to take more money no doubt and drive this game further off the cliff.

    These bouncy generals are doing my nut.  Very irritating.  At best they look like a pixel equivalent to a heaving bosom!  It doesn't make them look more alive, that's for sure.  Whatever was the developer thinking?

    Poseidon, it is hoped GGE/S compensates you handsomely for being their messenger and middleperson. I know I couldn't handle doing what you do if its volunteering.

    They need TO PUT THE ATTACK SCREEN BACK TO WHAT IT WAS!  We can't seen our men or tools unless we hit a tiny tab and then look for it on the list!  This is REALLY BAD! They had loyal ruby buyers that have no reason to buy at this point!  You can put all the 200% offers up that you want; I'm x-ing them out!
