    You DON'T you are literally expected to defend 17k 17-wave attacks with 3.5k or 5.5k if you can figure out how to do it. And, it's ok because they add 2600 to the attack that just lands in your courtyard. I know people on other servers that have just gone and whipped the top players of the game because it's impossible to defend. Just went to support my OWN alliance member who had at least 500k defense in his castle no matter how much support we sent him. He only had 2500 troops defending and lost to 11.5k attack after winning the wall on a flank.

    GGS BROKE DEFENSE. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEND! That's "the balance" they are adding. You can't defend and they can't defend. Everyone whipe everyone and catch FIRE!

    You cannot, This in fact is not a glitch but a feature of the new update. Limited courtyards.

    You can increase your courtyard limit by levelling up your general and applying skill points increase courtyard limit by 200 per point. currently caps at 12. That's 2.4k more towards your 80k! WOO! Earning what we already had is so much fun.

    Looks like I just go with my Fire/loot cast commanders at my places.

    Then will not matter what they send.

    omg  -- I didn't even know they limited our defenses!  So I bought a lot troops and can't defend.  Why buy?  Nomad trains -- well, I guess I don't need anymore crazy chest purchases! You JUST MADE THIS GAME USLESS.  We leveled up so we can withstand attacks- and now u ask us to do it again!  Why buy troops -- if we can only use a couple of thousands.  This is the worst update I have seen!

    pro mode for a week while i cool off then contacting paypal because this is not the game i bought rubies for !

    as they are sending generals with a full hero with fire and building destroy with it casts  fire % is alot lower now than the hero so a full defence hol will be needed now for half a chance
    this update has helped the bullies and cheats even more 
    so either you play full time in dove 
    or like a few on uk server have said its time to think about  packing the game up now

    I can still make over 100% fire and 80% loot casts with the old stuff.   Then you add the fire station and other items and I am way over 100% fire reduction.

    If I was using the newer relic pieces there is no way I could get that high.

    I looked and my cast commander shows 95% fire and when I add the fire station I am over 130% fire reduction.

    Was attacked yesterday and again ZERO fires at that place and others with the old pieces used.

    It seems not everyone has the stationing troops issue - but I have it also and agree. I want to choose my commander again, and right now I cannot. It is a MAJOR issue, and all the worse because it only affects some of us. Why were we chosen?

    well a game should be fun ,and it is not, i am a older man , and this way past my comprehension , i like my preset tower setup now i have to start over, this is not a update but scrap everything i was doing yesterday.which was easy , i been  playing in bird since the new equipment came out . 

    So now it seems every 2/3 years everything that has gone before is scrapped and i do not have the will or money to start over

    What the HELL did you guys do???    This attack forum is ridiculous.  Can't see which Commander I am using. seems like you just take the next one, but I may want to use a different one.   This is so CONFUSING.   I've been playing this game for about 6 years and this is definitely the WORST update and you guys were applauding it like it was something to make the Game easier.....Guess what it doesn't.   You are going to lose a LOT of good players.
    Too BAD!!!!   Please do something to give me back the old attack forum were I can do my own selecting.  And another thing, for attack screen is too small.

    As for me the obvious thing when doing such a rework would be to make two versions of interfaces and give user a check box to choose which version he prefers.

    With change of courtyard attacking/defence, well it changes the ballance and for some it's good for some not so much, for the later group something useful should be offered then all would be happy.

    Let me clarify my 3am post that I typed when half asleep and fix my typo ~

    EASE OF USE is the reason why I stuck to this game!!! The new attack screen is way overcomplicated for what we ALL KNOW should be a simple task!  I avoided games like this!  

    I'M ON AN OFFICIAL RUBY PURCHASE STRIKE ~  AGAIN!  

    WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?

    Preset is not working for me, I only had the one before the 'update' do I need to unlock other presets for it to work?
    Preset button is not activating.
    Looks like my fast raids have gone.

    they say only mods and trusted players tested this and this is the result
    update of the century they said

    its totally wrong

    all we wanted was a new event
    sams made good
    f/lords and bloodclaws made different 

    but this update is to complicated for most

    Its a case of slight of hand. 

    GGE has purposefully changed interface and put shiny new generals to distract us while they rip apart the combat system all together. But its ok because Horacio is a silver fox.
