What has happened to the tools we used to get at the end of Nomad, Glory, and Beri events?

    Unforuntately these were tied to a bug with one of the bestsellers, as a result, some users were getting these tools while they weren't supposed to. I know it's a blow to the gut because these tools were really great, but they aren't coming back.

    I agree to a point but if you look at the map and see all the space, 3 years ago there wouldn't be much now you can find 8foods easy, new players come in and last a few weeks getting nowhere and stop playing, the nails are getting more frequent now.

    its also not about how many  have left the game  its also about how often those playing the game stay on the game and play and how often they log into the game now its very noticeable these times are not the same as a few years ago as well
    maybe when this new event starts it might light a few fires again

    I won't deny that there are less players now than 3 years ago. I am just mocking the fact that whenever something happens someone doesn't like, the first thing they say is that this will finally kill the game. When in reality, it won't.

    Not sure about that, not sure how it will keep going unless more people come in and GGS make things more affordable, I have never been a big spender but now spend mainly to be able to have the KL extras, without the extra tools I will have no reason to buy it, also from playing all through the day 2 1/2 years ago now If I spread it out I can do 1 or two attacks a day to finish the rewards, that will become only playing every other one or less now when I run out of banners etc, then the only thing to do is friends, they are leaving the game so when they do something else there will be no reason for me to come on, I know I am having a winge but I am not going to spend 20 to 30 pounds every week to get enough tools to get easy easy+ rewards, I started just before the blacksmith was at it's best so was spoilt, I did play before and you could get ahead with spending a few pounds a month not any more.

    Honestly, I think players come back from time to time. I've left a few times. To do other things and I keep returning. But, it's a lot easier for me because I am a spender and I have a bunch of tools saved up. Time skips and other things. I found my 8food outpost easily and have been building them steady the last few days and they are almost ready for the mead upgrades if I decide to put them in my outpost. I really need to focus on my main first and see how that goes. But, if you check my castle it takes no time at all. I am on a few days back less than a week and I am going to run out of things to build and have to start the mead buildings fairly quickly.

    Many people leave for a while and come back to play it just happens. Some people will leave forever. It's a stressful game at times. Especially if you are involved with Alliances that are constantly at war. And, the game is extremely costly if you want to be one of the best in the game you'll need to spend to get there.

    I don't want to sit down and calculate the amount of money I have spent on the game. But, it's possibly in the tens of thousands. I did it once and it was close to 35k... that's a lot of cheddar. I just wish they had things like the Wheel they have now back in the day instead of me spending $150 to win a couple of widgets on an event. 

    My castles are now extremely out of date and need some real work. I've seen videos and screenshots of castles holding over 1 million troops. That is terrifying. I honestly don't know what I am going to do when I reach the new level 950. But, I am in the top positions at my level again. But, the scores at 950 are really intimidating. I wish GGE would just reward me for spending so much time returning to the game. 

    I've had other characters though back in the day. And, have finally settled on this one. And, it's at least 5 or more years old. Hopefully, I can get up to par in the near future. But, I honestly know I've spent way too much money on this game for my own good. Not to mention time.

    Well at least. She posted on my wall.

    I am also a self-appointed GGE historian. Back in the day, I was in the Original "Honey Badgers". Until it became part of the fellowship. And, my character fell into ashes over a long hospital stay. And, the use of "xXx" at the beginning and end of the of your name was removed along with my Character. I've been here from the Start, boi.
