LTPE Rewards

Is it me or is this just not worth it this month for top 250/100?  Even for 1st the trade district is good but a 1k build item would be useless for anyone getting 1st place as they would already be full of better food build items...

For top 250/100 the build items there are useless as well for all but a few.

Why are the rewards so low this time

    The rewards slowly cycle, so this will remain for a few runs and then it should change again.

    Yeah it's been a bit unfortunate when it's come to the prizes recently in the LTPE.

    Seems like mistakes in event rewards have been happening (frequently) for as long as I've been around. Is there someone whose job it is to triple check this?

    if it had been the other way around, the rewards would have changed immediately. Isn't it better to have fewer but well-functioning servers than many half-working servers ??? this is not the first time that a 'mistake' has occurred. and a 'mistake' is not bad, not correcting it is bad. very bad

    Thankfully it is not in my purview. We've a great guy double checking the rewards but as it's actually a rather difficult and error prone process some mistakes do creep in.

    Generally speaking you only need 1 person for this, otherwise you are double checking the double checking, at that point you are no longer double checking ;-) 
    Now yes, in this case it would've been nice if a second person caught the mistake and corrected it but I don't think hiring someone solely for double checking the double checker is feasible. Especially if you consider how little these mistakes happen and how it even less often results in a situation like this where it can't reverted.

    Wait......... "How LITTLE these mistakes happen"?????????????   LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!

    My actual point about the "one guy" is that it means there isn't a Team responsible for it.  Having "one guy" means he can get busy with other things, be on vacation, or just get burnt out on doing that mundane task.....

    I reckon it was that one guys day off when the LTPE started.

    There is no reason it couldn't be changed though as previously stated it was quickly changed when it favoured the players.

    There is a team but the main responsibility falls to one person. There is back up and cover available. There is even a QA department to help with certain things.

    Interesting.  Perhaps the QA Department needs to expand their purview........
