I hate ads. I never want ruby ads in my life. I will remind GGS time and time again. I don't are about other players; just implement a button to turn off ads. You have made the game a casino for children with the Wheel of Fortune and the Samurai card game. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING A VIRTUAL CURRENCY THAT I WILL SPEND AND WILL BE LOST IN CYBERSPACE FOREVER. There are children that are starving, and here we are buying something that doesn't exist. I will never, ever buy rubies. I don't care how many demon horrors or legendary equipment items you offer, but I will never buy them. I have no need for the ads.

1- allow ads to be turned on/off
2- allow adds to be minimized like the alliance mini chat box. move it all the way off the screen rather than just an icon that gets in the way
sadly, GGE will probably never do anything about the ads, as having them constantly in front of people has a psychological effect of making them want to buy it. they have actually proven in studies that people who have a product in front of them are more likely to buy it then those who do not, thus if we can move the ads out of the way, GGE will lose sales. probably like 1% or less, but to them, that 1% of sales is important.

I haven't seen them and I never will. I block ads like those.
I hope they aren't t00 obno%ious, but I hear people complaining about them, so I am sure they are quite annoying.

So.... Seems there were a lot more players in 2016 for various reasons but seems they detected a small pickup in numbers and decided that (external) ads were the way to go : I guess I can understand & applaud the desire to subsidise the game to keep some semblance of development to keep more players interested but fear the loss of casual players will drive those numbers (and therefore revenue) down dramatically... I guess time will tell.
Especially interesting are the external ads for alternative games we can spend our time playing!!!
