I ask support to get the rubies back I spent there, trying to work around bugs that I took no part in causing. They said no, because everyone experienced the same issue. Had I known when I bought the packages first day id be playing a bugged/broken event, I would not have spent money that round! But after my intial investment, I wanted desperately to still try and perform well for my alliance so I tried, knowing now I shouldnt have. I guess with GGE logic, if you sell a broken product and someone wants it replaced, the seller is safe because everyone else spending money also bought the same broken product. I really didnt think I was asking too much, I think if another business sold a faulty product to everyone they would replace it or maybe im just livid and over-reacting. I wasted hours hitting capitals that showed up as city states and gave me nothing, and hours wasting time finding capitals with influence that were unowned and couldnt be attacked/traced back to the alliance I was scouting.
but i see a mix of player in BtH wich are not in 1 alliance in green.
so now you have all ruby players in 1 alliance in BtH and the other alliances are just sitting ducks .
@flug (NL1) If you think about it, it is good because let's say these whales are the best there is meaning no one else can win first but because there are less whales in separate alliances it is easier to get second for FTP. My theory...
one whale attack the other whale, the attacked whale needs food or resources. and nemo the little fish keeps on putting out fires . That's won't change but it's not really right.
same with storm, i never go to other alliance to win it or help win it. (no is it not difficult to win these days but................)
maybe i'm too honest
And it spreads the bakeries out so no one alliance becomes too strong.
Sure we can get something out of it but those bakeries are not shared evenly
That's what I was going for with my message.
Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
In case anyone is wondering if the Never-Buyer can get the rewards, here are my final numbers:
3.5 hours from the end was pretty entertaining. I had a City-State that was going to pay out before the 2 hour mark. I had to fight off 3 different Caps on it and was able to ignore the 4th as it was landing AFTER the time expired. LOL! As for the final 2 hours, I had 20-something attacks on my Capital, and I only evacuated for 2 of them. I was sitting on 2200 Def troops at the end and still had 150k gold to buy more.
Could have stayed in for those 2 as well.............
Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
#1 - My first City-State Cap was 2.5 mins away from landing when the 1 Minute warning of shut down alerted. After we came back up, there was NO message in my inbox, NO Cap underway, NO troops anywhere to be found, the Castle Gardens I sold to buy the troops were still gone, and the coins were still at the same amount after having purchased them.
#2 - Hitting a Capital I received a No Battle report. The message is that "the target is no longer being held by its original owner or it's under protection." Hold on....... AFAIK, the Capital cannot be passed to another "owner" and even if the "owner" is under the bird, you can still hit it. Proof of this is seen below.
1 - The No Battle message:
2 - My troops marching away from the actual Capital, so it isn't a creative naming of a different property:
3 - Proof that you CAN hit a Capital that is under the bird. I did it here:
Once again, there are irregularities in how BtH plays...........
Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
