Ok now last night I had 4k ruby defense in my castle, this morning they are all gone no food shortage as the food is all still there, only 1 battle report where i won a defense with 300 troops, NO  other battle reports......I'm really not happy with this round...

471:858  Hit the capital and you get a BR that you hit a city state.  Get some Res that is it.

Did this fix already go in?
Says it was going to be done yesterday, 18th.
If it's been deployed already, it has failed, as there are still capitals in the event map that have no owner showing and cannot be attacked.
But apparently they *do* belong to someone, you just can't see that - which also means their alliance points are protected and cannot be reduced - but their alliance can still attack and gain more points.
Very unfair against the alliances who have a 'normal' capital!

It was not fixed if you hit some capitals  they send back res and it is as if you hit a City State.

    GEE  get it right

Getting it right is above GGE's paygrade and incompetence level, however getting it wrong to their advantage is not above their greed level.
  • The last BTH has had countless bugs that ruined the whole event for me and my alliance.
I ask support to get the rubies back I spent there, trying to work around bugs that I took no part in causing. They said no, because everyone experienced the same issue. Had I known when I bought the packages first day id be playing a bugged/broken event, I would not have spent money that round! But after my intial investment, I wanted desperately to still try and perform well for my alliance so I tried, knowing now I shouldnt have. I guess with GGE logic, if you sell a broken product and someone wants it replaced, the seller is safe because everyone else spending money also bought the same broken product. I really didnt think I was asking too much, I think if another business sold a faulty product to everyone they would replace it or maybe im just livid and over-reacting. I wasted hours hitting capitals that showed up as city states and gave me nothing, and hours wasting time finding capitals with influence that were unowned and couldnt be attacked/traced back to the alliance I was scouting.

how is that possible , BtH should be an alliance event.
but i see a mix of player in BtH  wich are not in 1 alliance in green.

so now you have all ruby players in 1 alliance in BtH and the other alliances are just sitting ducks .

@flug (NL1) If you think about it, it is good because let's say these whales are the best there is meaning no one else can win first but because there are less whales in separate alliances it is easier to get second for FTP. My theory...

that's the problem, it is for the whales :):):)

one whale attack the other whale, the attacked whale needs food  or resources.   and nemo the little fish keeps on putting out fires . That's won't change  but it's not really right.

same with storm, i never  go to other alliance to win it or help win it.  (no is it not difficult to win these days but................)
    maybe i'm too honest  :)

I think this is a good thing, this allows smaller servers to still compete in the event.
And it spreads the bakeries out so no one alliance becomes too strong.

I must have been playing in a different beyond as its always been the same alliances winning the bakeries...

Sure we can get something out of it but those bakeries are not shared evenly

In my server 3 alliances came together and made it to the top 5, because of this we were the first to get a bakery here and the bakeries were spread over 3 alliances.
That's what I was going for with my message.

Something is wrong with game right now. The reset did not happen.

I concur.  Of course it's the weekend and GGE don't work weekends.  Nor does GGE care if players get the shaft.  The only thing GGE cares about is the daily take.  I would think the reset not happening or spawning just a few city states would impact the day's take since people look around and say oh well another GGE screw up, and there's nothing for me to do here...

Maybe it was the winding back of clocks for an hour. Reset was 1 hour later yesterday..

@Wasso (INT3)  Thanks.  West was the only direction I didn't check.  Kind of bad if you got plopped down on the east side...

That is one of the reasons I don't join until the later half of the 2nd day.  Keeps you in a City-State area longer.  Still, one often has to take the free move and strategically place the castle on the 3rd or 4th day.

In case anyone is wondering if the Never-Buyer can get the rewards, here are my final numbers:

Ended in Event:  474th place.  Alliance = 102452.  Personal: 4738.  Total at end = 107190

Ended in Main:  739th place.  Total = 107,190.

3.5 hours from the end was pretty entertaining.  I had a City-State that was going to pay out before the 2 hour mark.  I had to fight off 3 different Caps on it and was able to ignore the 4th as it was landing AFTER the time expired.  LOL!  As for the final 2 hours, I had 20-something attacks on my Capital, and I only evacuated for 2 of them.  I was sitting on 2200 Def troops at the end and still had 150k gold to buy more.

Could have stayed in for those 2 as well.............
    Good night.
    Sleep well.

So far 2 questions on things that happened today in BtH.

#1 - My first City-State Cap was 2.5 mins away from landing when the 1 Minute warning of shut down alerted.  After we came back up, there was NO message in my inbox, NO Cap underway, NO troops anywhere to be found, the Castle Gardens I sold to buy the troops were still gone, and the coins were still at the same amount after having purchased them.

#2 - Hitting a Capital I received a No Battle report.  The message is that "the target is no longer being held by its original owner or it's under protection."  Hold on....... AFAIK, the Capital cannot be passed to another "owner" and even if the "owner" is under the bird, you can still hit it.  Proof of this is seen below.

1 - The No Battle message:

2 - My troops marching away from the actual Capital, so it isn't a creative naming of a different property:

3 - Proof that you CAN hit a Capital that is under the bird.  I did it here:

Once again, there are irregularities in how BtH plays...........
    Good night.
    Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
