What are the best three ruby purchases in the game in your opinion?

in Off Topic
This includes everything in the game that cost rubies.

And why? I agree
Stables because it makes your armies and espionage and market barrows faster obviously.
Watchtower is great for pvp because you can spot attacking armies quicker allowing your allies to send defences to you and giving you more time to prepare your defence setup. Pair this with an early detect castellan and you can detect their armies far faster that normal.
Why does it say that this thread has been answered when I never clicked yes. I want other peoples opinion.
Bakery to allow more troops staying in your castle before they run away hungry.
Watchtower for earlier spotting incoming attacks.
In addition to those buildings (I finished them years ago), I'm also fond of donating one ruby to the alliance treasury whenever by the end of the day I still need to do that daily task of spending rubies, giving me 100 rubies in return.
As you have done all ruby upgrades what do you now spend them on?
2. Stables - Speedy support, faster attacks. Very nice to have.
3. Khan and RBC cooldowns - Clearly the best use of rubies in the game. A very good feature.
Serious 3. Watchtower - The earlier you detect a hit, the more support you can get from your alliance.
After stables, bakeries and watchtowers I got ruby moats (saving first, then buying them all at once, making use of a special offer) and a +40% food symbol on my flag (after saving for a very long time... there are no offers for flag symbols).
Too often I've spent rubies on unwanted (and utterly useless) things due to the game's cunning placement of ruby buttons. (Just search the forum for "accidental" to find examples.)
Now I mostly spend them on keeping a few months' worth of food overseer and plunderer (both in the king's market), making use of -75% offers (or better). Apart from that I save rubies for later. Perhaps for a glory symbol on my flag, or some other permanent thingy.
Earlier I bought a season pass for the kingdom league a few times, but I stopped buying those after GGE fooled around with the rewards. (I do like to know what I'm paying for.)
better to use them for upgrading ruby moat , stables , watchtower , flag symbols ( food and glory ) and after these upgrade imperial hunting lodge it will also increase food producton
As far as I know levels 2 and up don't actually increase food production more than level 1; they only increase the remaining wood and stone production. So that would be a total waste of rubies. Another excellent example of misleading descriptions by GGE with the sole purpose of making you spend more rubies.
I was told the fire station wasn't worth it
