I am interested to find out if some servers have ceasefires due to covid 19

This would be difficult to answer unless you are in the Alliances that create / follow / enforce the "fairplay" rules on that Server. I heard that your server has done so. Not heard of any others...…...

yeah, GB1 is kinda a joke when it comes to rules... ceasefire for covid19 when theres an inbuilt feature called "Protection Mode" but nah, alliances signed up to a ceasefire, ruin the game for everyone else. Luckily our alliance hasn't signed up to it so we can still PvP... thankfully

My alliance did the original but not the second one. I don't get the fact more time will be spent on the game yet there are measures in place to kill part of the game.

then they can bird up, and if you are worried about your troops that much that it takes a strain on you you are too invested in the game been there myself cannot reccomend, stop giving too many fucks about your troops and relax more

It is a war game and if those people get attacked they can rebuild. I am rebuilding my Ice cause Joe from stallions attacked my at 2am! I am not causing a fuss so they don't either.

It's a war game blah blah blah. I'm not saying a nurse on a 12 hour shift would be getting stressed about the game, but would be having to leave their account to itself. Hardly seems fair that there would be people sharking around looking for vulnerable accounts where there are loads of reward troops because these people haven't had time to be online. Hardly seems fair either to be expecting them to pay for the bird. Goodness knows how long they'll need. Obviously there are different points of view here and at the end of the day there are certainly more important things going on than this, for us all.

At first I wanted the ceasefire then didn't but I see reasons for and against. Maybe someone should create an alliance for key workers but then non key workers could say there were and we would be back to the start.

Let me get this straight. A ceasefire for the people who are still busy? Give me a break. That don't happen for me when I'm busy(still am) and others aren't. That's what birds, firecasts and alliances are for: to minimize damage while you're gone. What are the people who are already bored out of their minds, stuck at home supposed to do for excitement? Playing the endless whack a mole events sure as hell don't cut it.

Since everybody's broke or soon will be depending on your viewpoint/preferred plan of action, why not just have everybody commit to no purchase wars?

I aint a fan of this ceasefire thing either. If people are busy and working put yourself in pro thats what its for. The rest of us are sat at home all day and these events are endless and boring after a while especially when they practically only run nomads and bcs, Who knows where sams went. But at the end of the day im stuck in and around alliances that I can't send a single hit on or 3/4 of the server that signed up will come and beat me up.

You guys on GB seem to have ceasefires for virtually everything: Elections, holidays, disasters, the Queen farting etc....Seems to me that maybe a good chunk don't understand the underlying concept of the game though GGE has been piling on the bs/dirt heavily to bury that underlying concept.

We have a ceasefire at Christmas and this is happening because people wanted it. We don't have one for elections disasters and stop being silly.

been on her for years now , can't remember ceasefires for elections disasters and apart from xmas that's probably one of only ones i can remember. as for central hands up if you don't agree with ceasefire go hit some of the alliances which are in ceasefire.
central alliance does not hit anyone in ceasefire or blue. but you don't agree with ceasefire so hit players which are in blue instead of coming on here and moaning.
