Serverwar event idea

I have an idea for a new event you might like.. I think serverwars are very exciting, and something that really captures what I love about the game. Sadly they don't happen very often because it's a big risk for all the castles/alliances involved, and the strongest alliance will always win in the end. Maybe you could make an event which simulates a serverwar, much like the outer realm in a different server. My idea short: When your alliance enters all the members castles spawn close together. The alliances have a week to prepare capturing outposts, gathering tools, troops and equipment for commanders, but also builditems. All these things can be gathered by attacking robbers, which will give more loot the more you attack them. Tools and troops can be bought with special coins you steal from the robbers, much like how the master smith works. Builditems, relik armour and commanders can also be stolen, like you would steal green or purple armour from attacking robbers in the normal servers. After a week of preparing, the wars can start. Attacking and defending are the same as normal, except everyone already has 6 attackwaves.

Castle:
- Max lvl wall, gate and towers.
- Food production of 30000
- Food capacity of 200000
- Lvl 3 stables.
- No spies and guards, players can build those in the preperation week.
- Shop to spend special coins
You can fill in the rest I guess. There should be food for plenty of defense, and ofcourse for attackers.

Outposts:
- Max lvl wall, gate and towers
- Food production of 20000
- Food capacity of 150000
- Lvl 3 stables
- No guards
- Shop to buy special coins

Robbers:
- Number of defenders starts at about 80, increases the more you attack
- Relik armour starts at 1 star, stars increase the more you attack. Every attack contains 1 piece of armour
- Builditems like increased space for troopson the walls, foodproduction boost and boosts for stables can't always be gained from attacking robbers, but the chance of finding one and the levels increase the more you attack.
- Amount of special coins increases the more you attack.

Special coinshop
- Tools players can buy: Defensive tools, Offensive tools, glory flags, maybe lootcarts.
- Troops players can buy: Veteran/normal Terror troops. Veteran/normal Flamethrowers and composition archers.
- Cost: Defensive tools and troops should cost more than offensive tools and troops. This will stop players from stacking too much defenders in each castle, so the defender needs to devide their troops with more thought and care.
- During the preperation week, special coins can be won from attacking robbers, during the warweek they can also be won from attacking players.

Rewards:
- The way you can gain points in this event is through gaining glory. The amount of glory every player in one alliance has at the end of the event will be added up, and the alliance with the most points wins. The rewards for winning are for you to decide.

I play on Dutch language, so some things I referred to might not have the right name. I tried my best tho :D. There's probably a lot of flaws in the balance aswell, so ofcourse suggestions are welcome.

not enough ways to make money. also, what's the point of war if there are no consequences on the main server? if nothing happens on main, war will become meaningless.
    yes

GGE doesn't need more events but to fix the ones they already have and perhaps breathe new life into ones they have discarded (e.g. blade coast, the underground, etc...). Besides, server wars are usually something that start organically. By that I mean it doesn't need to be an artificial event to get people to fight each other. There are already enough man-children with thin skins and fragile egos on the US server. You don't need much to start a conflagration.

You want to know what is going on at support? Oh, yeah. Send an email to xyzxyz and then have them tell you an email address to ask for a phone number so you can get an address for international mail to Mars. Once Elon Musk finally lands on Mars they'll tell you where to go in the Andromeda Galaxy to ask extraterrestrial intelligence what GGE support is truly doing because nobody on Earth knows what they do. The logic here is that we can't ever know what they do because they don't do anything! - dliu3

  • What is the point of having a temporary server war? Think about it, most of you have already been to outers or Beyond the horizon events and you know who will win; Rawside and their leader; Rudy-MR. Ever since the temporary server has been the German server has proved itself, time and time again that it is the strongest server around. You put any of the MISC, KoN or anyone from the US server and the war would be over quicker than an alcoholic drinks his wine. If you want a war, then maybe it would be a good idea to start one on the US server and see what happens. Wars are all well and good, but if you have one on a temporary server, it is meaningless and there isn't anything to be gained. However, on a main server, then there is everything to gain and also to lose.

I might have given it a wrong name. the point for this event is not completely destroying an other alliance like would happen in a normal server, but rather coördinate attacks with your alliance, puting up a good defense and just having to use strategies instead of mindlessly attacking nomads or crows over and over. I like the idea of the outer realms, because it gives you a reason to attack other players without consequences. I just think a week is too short because you can't build up your castle and your troops will just get killed when you are offline. My event fixes those issues and gives every alliance a chance to fight with the big boys, even though you might be right about the pay 2 win aspect.

I don't know if you are familiar with Clash of Clans. In that game you can fight clanwars, where only 2 clans fight eachother. That might be a better idea, just 2 alliances with equal amounts of power fighting a war.
