The fortune teller will visit the castles in the Empire starting today and give you insight
into the powerful prophecies still veiled by the mists of the future.
So what are those mysterious predictions?
Prophecies give you the chance to receive rewards directly from the reward pool.
Once you have paid the fortune teller to do her prophecy, she will look into your future
and give you a reward that may include consumables, rubies, or something even rarer. The
number of possible prophecies per day will be limited. When this limit is reached, you must
wait for the fortune teller cooldown.
But remember, each prophecy tells you a different part of your future, so the cost per
prophecy, content / items, and number of rewards from prophecy to prophecy can vary greatly.
Additional effects of appearance objects
With this update, we made changes to temporary appearance objects. You now increase the
capacity of your front and flank. And it gets even better: they also increase the number of
waves you can send against your enemy.
"No Burning: A New Global Effect"
A new global effect will be introduced that many of you will appreciate. He will disable the
ability to set fire to enemy buildings. So you will never wake up again and see your castle in
flames. This effect will not run permanently but will only be active temporarily!
New construct set:
This update adds two new buildings to our fantastic winter theme just in time for the winter.
Soon you can get the winter barracks and the winter quarry. Here you can already see what they
will look like:
The pawns of the Emperor:
We also have a new look for your castle and world map:
The emperor's chess pieces offer you the strategic advantage of intimidation as you face your
opponents in an epic battle!

I read it on there as well, it's mental. I spend unreasonable amounts of money on this game as it is, but this is beyond reasonable. They keep adding in new things for a small fortune, then give them out 2 weeks later for fck all, and it's getting annoying. It feels like they are just weeding out money until the game burns and crashes at this point.

Well food better be frozen for atleast 3 more hours after the update ends, as I can't play to get my food up and since I didn't receive any warning about this update, I didn't have time to prepare so there's quite the chance that I (and others) will have starvations.

Yep it is pretty ridiculous that this was posted on the German forum but no one can seem to find it on the English one

yep most of my Alliance will prob quit before Xmas..Ill stay around a few days to tie up loose ends but we were already being massed regularly by the No 1 Alliance being funded by a UK millionaire with their two crappiest players (and biggest cheaters - Joshvir262 for starters) given carte blanche.... plus the other alliances too cowardly to help..but once we're gone theyll be next..

I agree with the other comments....This update is completely mindless!

The game has been getting increasingly worse for a fair while now. There seems to be no logic in the updates. Each update seems to cause more imbalances to general game-play than the one which it proceeded with the only aim in mind for GGS to increase revenue.

I'm total fed-up with the pay-to-win style of the game and dislike the formats of events like the 'Outer Realms' and 'Horizons'.

Personally, it feels like this update is to finally 'milk the customers dry' before the game is abandoned.....

The numbers of those who play is decreasing (on UK1) and I can only assume the same is true for the other servers as well- and it is little surprise why when the game is run how it is!

I have less time to play nowadays combined with this update certainly makes my decision to quit easier...

The update is meant to cater to the top players/whales who struggle fighting other players of their size. You can still hold flank with a ruby shapeshifter cast, 800 on wall and quicklimes against a 9 wave hit from a master summoner. Without def hall either.

This absolutely works, I tested it already this morning.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a relic equivalent or better of a ruby shapeshifter cast. This update is going to disproportionately hurt small alliances and weaker players who don't have the defensive resources to put up with these hits.

Wow, I am not sure where exactly where to start on this one.

Firstly let me start by saying there has ALWAYS been advantages to those who spend on the game, lets be honest its the business model of F2P games its how they work. And I have been someone who has taken full advantage of this over the years.

But over time the creep of power given to people who pay to play the game has been steadily growing. meaning that steadily the disparity has been growing, so how has that affected my game play? well I have done less and less PVP to the point I barely bother now, as if i hit someone if i win its really not worth the grief.

I thought that GGE were learning their lesson, I thought that GGE were actually listening to players, and a few years ago it appeared at least to some degree they were. The removed the Multi accouning bonus scheme they were running laughably called a loyalty bonus. The brought out new comms that were available to all players although ruby players could get them quicker. THE FI comm the crow com mand then later the master SS comm wee the most powerfull comms in the game and every player in the game could get them with some effort. At the same time there genuinly seemed to be a push on shutting down botters and multis. And I was optimistic that GGE were actually on the same page as most players.

Then something changed. I dont know if it was the change in ownership or what it was but all of a sudden the direction of travel changed, the focus changed from that of trying to address the disparity in the game and making the game fairer to what we see today. Which is a game that is literally FULL of shells literally full of people using bots, and full of people building cheap ruby accounts one glance around the server and anyone with a pair of eyes and a little experience can see them exploding up all over the place. Its a game that every single change that comes out makes the disparity bigger and bigger and bigger.

Its not that i cant buy every singe offer that GGE can give, i can and have for many years. Its not that i cant build an account that can run long term with 4-5-6 million power points, without too much effort.

But there are account out there that can do it 10 times cheaper, by manipulating the crazy inactivity bonus, and the cheap ruby exploits, and for all GGE claim they are on top of this, it is still being done. Every day new ones appearing. this is FACT not specualtion. its not difficult to do. The level of cheating is accelerating at a huge pace. And you can see why, GGE are forcing people to cheat they are encouraging people to cheat, and who can really blame people? if you have £200 to spend on the game and by doing it legit you can get £1m rubies or by cheating you can get 10m rubies. What are you going to do?

And you have your answer the server is full of people that are choosing the 10 times cheaper option!!! And no i really am not exagerating.

But the very worst thing is the total denial that there is a problem, even when you present it to them, even when you show them in game mails from players saying i will guarantee you a top 10 finish in their new Flagship event the horrison, by selling points. NOTHING at all is done.

I genuinly believe the game is now beyond saving, the real fact is that GGE have zero interest in addressing the issues. The disparity is too large the gap between ruby and non ruby is simply too great, what could once be addressed with hard work and effort no cannot be, not even close.

I enjoy the competition as much as the next guy and have always worked hard to be the strongest player I can be, but seriously enough is enough. There is only so many times you can be ignored.

And then we move on to the latest "improvments" in the game. the ability to increase your attacking strength 50% at the click of a button (assuming you have enough money) add into the mix the ability to gain unlimited amounts of troops at the click of a button on the new wheel and fortune teller. and you all of a sudden have a game thats so far out of balance its not even funny. Add into the mix that the cheating accounts can do this up to ten times cheaper than legitimate accounts, and you have a game that is totally and utterly broken.

I genuinly dont know where to go from here. Its actually hard for me to understand how a company could get it so wrong.

I have had similar conversations going the game customer support route, I am told my comments will not be passed on to the development team I quote “we know people cheat” They also remind you account deleting requires you to remain dormant for three months, and they wonder why we have a server full of shells, given most people who leave the game hand over the account to the alliance they are in, all that happens is the account gets parked up, and as soon as the 500% offers roll in then it becomes yet another multi shell. Are GGE aware they encourage multies? Damn right they are, do they know the average player has to buy to defend this or to compete in an event, damn right they do. Will they listen to players customers pointing out the issues?

Not a chance, the latest update of additional waves not one not two, but three, made without any advanced warning, is there way of driving that nail deep into the coffin of fair minded players.
