    The next event will run on the 14th. There will be a gift package for players that invested in the previous run of the event available on the 15th. I was unable to negotiate for anything more. I totally understand the frustrations expressed here by all of you but I am not able to provide more than what I already have as a Community Manager at this point.
    Crom, i have a question for you, feel free to reply or not...

    How does it feel to know you are working for a bunch of thieves and liars?

    If i'm wrong for calling them thieves and liars please explain why they can't do the right thing?

    I'll answer for Crom @Grunt3 (US1):  They can't do refunds since Broomhilda down at the nudie bar has all the money now.  She ain't giving the money back to the lying slovenly scumbags of GGS because they're just so gross that the money she got from them barely paid for the disinfectant and soap to wash all that icky off.

    Is it really expected by GGS the player will have a next try to get robbed in Beyond all broken games only to receive compensation?

    Exactly.  They will FORCE you to play BtH if you want them.  This will let them take the participation numbers and show how POPULAR the event is.  No one SHOULD enter it.

    But, people want those materials.  So they will..........

    But many will not , because if your not in the top 20 it is pointless ,and if you cannot get 20 players buying or just half of them the again do not bother 

    This event do not reward you for entering , and if you do you just become fodder for the players who can fill an alliance 

    If you got some rewards it may be worth entering if not not worth helping those who can

    just enter and play a bit on last day and get minimum rewards anything more is not worth it for most

    Just remember, by doing so you are letting GGS use your participation as PROOF that the Event is Popular.  Doesn't matter how long you played, or how much effort you  put in.  The number of Players is what they will use.

    It will ALSO show that everyone forgives them, as they ALL accepted the "gift package".

    UNLESS, NO ONE enters on the 14th.  NO ONE accepts the "gift package" on the 15th.  EVERYONE waits until the 16th.  But, there are only a very small % of us here on the Forum.  ANOTHER aspect that GGS takes into account when they make their decisions.  We are too small of a factor in their overall player base..........

    First of all gge if a profit making online game.

    Why would gge make everything fir none ruby and go bust????


    The silver tent now gives none ruby free ruby tools.. Relics.... Vip... They still moan.


    Get a job and spend or be proud nine ruby and stop ya melon moaning the lot of ya...


    If the guy next to me has a million and i have a penny I do not frown... I smile and think welldone in life... Gge is the same...


    Youbuy what you expect to gain... Do not cone on here moaning it is a ruby event... Di u want gge to bend over giving you a free game when others contribute to gge running costs gaining the same????


    Ruby players already shafted.. None ruby need to be grateful.

    I refrained from posting in this thread, giving GGE time to make things right. From all the years and time I personally have wasted writing in to them, I should have known better.

    I have been playing since January of 2013.. about to "celebrate" my 7th year playing this game with some people who have become pretty good friends. Just so it is clear, it is not GGE that has kept me here, it is them. I have been here since before all the pay to win items... tools were just being introduced and horrors came in a chest infrequently. I know some have been here longer than I have, and I am sure that they will agree.. in all these almost 7 years of playing.. GGE has rarely ever done anything to make things right for its players, especially when they are at fault. This time, will be no different. Yet, we still hold some hope.

    I wrote in asking for a refund. Nothing more. I don't need some elaborate gift pack along with it, just a refund of money that I spent in good faith, on the product they put out working as stated. We understand glitches. What we do not understand why an event was allowed to continue, when a large chunk of alliances/players had zero chance of competing, when others had the ability to keep every bit of influence and no way for it to be taken.. 

    GGE has the ability to shut things down for hot fixes. God knows they do it when it favors the majority of the players, and not them.. can't have events running that do that! But instead of hot-fixing, the event continued. GGE continued collecting money from those who did not know, and reaping the benefits and money from those who did.. and used it to their advantage. That constitutes fraud.

    I filled out a ticket and sent it in. I kindly asked for a refund, nothing more, and detailed the issues with screens. I got a response today.
    I was told there would be no refund for anyone, they are giving us a "generous" (his words) gift pack in hopes we will have "more fun" this time.. and apologized for the "bumpy start" to their new event.

    "Bumpy start" is not what I call defrauding a large chunk of people, who spent and had zero shot at competing due to a glitch you knew about and could have fixed.

    Well in fact you did not just remove the link I provided people to report GGE to the EU.  "Legal Jargon" ...lol  more like GGE worried about how they look Jargon and finally having some real consequences. I provided the link because we are all getting the same, copy pasted form letter back from GGE. No actual answers. No explanation as to why they kept it going, knowing it was continuing to take peoples money when it was unfairly tilted for people with no capitols. It is insulting.

    The next thing you removed was me stating that we (TM)  would not be spending any money in the next Horizon event. I did not say people need to boycott it, but we (TM) (and many others)  are so utterly disgusted by the condescending copy paste mail, and the fact they cheated customers out of money, we will not be spending in the event. Other people are free to do what their conscious tells them to do. 

    This next portion is not "legal Jargon" it is directly from the lower left hand corner of the ruby sales page. ANYONE who wants a refund of their money, has 14 days to do so, from your date of purchase. You just need the rubies to be in your account currently. While I think they should refund either way, since purchasing and using them to build etc was negated by the glitch.. we know they lack being able to do the right thing, and at least you can get your money back from the failed event. 

    Also, I messaged GGE and declined their "generous offer" of nothing I asked for. I simply want the return of my money. If they end up giving me the "generous offer", should I go over, that is on them and is in no way an acceptance or compensation of my loss.

    The reality is the posts on here were excedingly misleading, Massivly so.  The advice was to contact Support if you have a claim all claims would be considered on an individual basis and if you are due a refund you will get it.

    This was absolute nonsense, every player recieved a copy and paste of the same reply, and NO ONE got anything.  Even those of us that were overcharged for things we purchased in the event and it said one price and charged another.  Now that is fraudulent.  

    I have written over and over to support and I may as well be talking to a wall, they have been clearly been told by someone senior that no one gets anything no matter what.

    That is not considering each claim on its merit, that is deciding that no one gets anything and copy and pasting!!!

    There is no point sending your players to support when you know in advance what support is going to say, all that does is waste peoples time and make them even more angry, I guess its easier to tell someone to do one behind closed doors then to do it in public where everyone can see it for what it is, a stitch up by a very greedy company with no intention of actually acknowledging that an event it ran was a total shambles from the moment it launched, with more holes in it than swiss cheese.

    All your players want from you is that firstly you approach changes to the game updates new events etc with proper care and attention, ie you act in a professional manor.  

    And when you do get it wrong you have the balls to say you know what we got that wrong it wasnt good enough, we are very sorry we will try harder next time, no player should be financially worse off after playing that event so we will refund everyone on an individual basis.

    Even now  there has been nothing.   You are intending to launch the event again tomorrow, and you have said nothing at all over what you have done to the event to ensure it functions correctly and to address the mountain of complaints about how it works.  Do we have to assume that its the same as last time?  no changes?  

    You have a perfect vehicle for communication in the forum yet when it comes to stuff players actually want to know things that are actually very important to players, you go quiet.  

    Yet when it comes to posting up some nonsense story's in some faux olde worlde language.  You are all over it like a rash, despite your players having zero interest in that.
    Not only do they brush over it, and act condescending as if us being upset is wrong...they edit things out because GGE doesn't want to look like thieves. We simply asked for a refund for a known defect that prevented us from playing the game as it was intended. They could have hot-fixed, shut down the purchases, something.. other than saying they would make it right... and then did not. 

    The only way to make it right is: Refund for the loss. To make sure the game runs as intended by addressing all the glitches. Simple af.

  • @Crom Cruach question for you, if you and your colleagues all go to a car dealership to buy the same car to race each other and the winner will get 1 million dollars (fair level playing field with an unrealistic prize) but after the race starts you notice your car can only go a max speed of 100km where 3 others can go a max speed of 200km. Would you be going back to the dealership and ask for your money back? Or would you roll over and take a free oil change with the purchase of a set of new tires? Maybe @BM Neroxnex would like to answer this question too
