Re Compensation
So looking at the tools in my possession for the royal city event, I can see that the royal token chest, the premium royal coin case and the golden royal coin case all now have boosters for nomad tokens and glory.
I still have the following issues with the compensation package:
1. The Royal Coin case has no booster at all. Why not ? It was on the update information as expecting boost values.
2. The booster Values given to the other tools do not appear comparable to the tool cost of the royal event tools. The royal token chest was costly when I bought it, and it was used sparingly whilst now it has a 1% nomad value and 4% glory value.
3. Royal cities was a cumulative event. I spent a lot of time and effort (any money) earning the 971k royal coins that I had, saving up to get the complete set of equip. GGS has removed them and has stated that it does not intend to compensate for that. This is unacceptable.
How many times must we all go through the same argument with GGS? Compensation is where you make reparations for loss/ money spent then provide 'x' to compensate for the inconvenience etc.
GGS seems to fail to understand the meaning of the word.
This is what leads people to believe GGS does not listen as we have to have the same debates over and over with only the original circumstances changing. I, personally, am experiencing a deja vu moment whilst typing about what it means to compensate people as I'm aware I have written that aspect of this post in 2 or 3 other discussions.
For GGS they are pixels. For players they represent time and effort, and potentially money, being generous with a compensation package is an opportunity to increase good feeling with your customers. It is a way to demonstrate that you care and to increase customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers are more likely to be retained and thus you increase your sales in the long-term. Even for those that do not spend, an increase in non ruby player satisfaction will still prove valuable as ruby players need non ruby players to play with! It is a win win situation. The reverse is true with a poor compensation package. Your ruby players will resent the wasted efforts and feel that you have effectively stolen their money under false pretences and become further disillusioned with a company that seems to be demonstrating that it is only our money that it cares for. Meanwhile your non ruby players will feel that they have even less chance and that what is the point of investing their time and effort when the results could be removed with nothing to show for it. Dissatisfied Ruby customers = a decrease in spend / leave the game, Dissatisfied Non ruby customers = reduced playing time / leave the game thus causing more dissatisfaction and so on.
Look to everyday modern life, companies that have a reputation of valuing their customers and owning their mistakes have strong and loyal customer bases. Mistakes / problems when handled correctly are an opportunity for a company to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. I firmly believe GGS as a company needs to invest in Customer Service training for all levels of the company. If it would actually make any difference to the volume of poor experiences we all have to go through, I'd deliver the training for free!
We want a compensation package that reflects what time, effort and potentially money, we have put into the event.
This is not it.

I also would like compensation for my coins(yeah I Can provide a screenshot of what I had before you removed them ) and I also want compensation for my royal coin cases still in my inventory that are useless.
Royal Capitals were before my time so I can't really compare the tools. I am also not sure what calculations were used here to equate the values.
I have and will continue to raise this internally.
Well now GGE will give us the set for a lot of Rubies.
Again it is Pay to Win
And to be honest this forum will not change anything , because as much as Mods try to put are side of how we feel , they do not care or listen. this place to them is just there way of letting us vent, and i sure in there heart of heart the mods agree with us , but they have to tow the party line.
I'm suddenly strangely glad that when the royal capital event did run, I was too potato to play it very much. Back then 1000 defenders was a bit too many for my limited troops and commanders. I'm fortunate to have been so small, so inactive that I don't think I acquired more than 900 royal coins or so. From what I've read, probably thousands of dollars spent to collect royal coins have been, basically, stolen from your players.
How hard could it be to do what Morentz suggested? How hard would it be to set up a shop to allow players to sell back their Royal Capital tools for the same prices they were sold? How hard is it to simply give a damn for your customers, who put the food on your plate, and the electricity in your computers, and keep your employees working for you? I do not have the luxury to boast that I am an investor in GGS, as I have an acute lack of money, but many players have invested significant amounts of their hard-earned money into your game, believing it to be worth their while to support the company developing the game they like to play, and wishing to get an edge from it. So why can't you respect that?
People and companies make mistakes, and I understand that.
But this is not a mistake (as far as I can tell). This is deliberate, this is cold, this is calculating.
This? Utterly and totally unacceptable. This isn't compensation, this is 5 grit sandpaper to the face, followed by a seawater bath.
I think EVERYONE would agree that simply having a Royal Coin Store would solve this problem. Let those who have them, spend them. The only question is what to stock it with, and how much each item would cost...…………..
Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.

This royal coin thing ... calculated risk on their part. Probably not many players had a substantial number of coins and the ones who did are a low per centage risk for quitting the game [having way too much invested in their accounts already]
Sleep well.
I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
Lame excuse. but besides that. they could just globally give all the players the well known blue gift....at the start of the next long term event..... with at least a 6 hours booster for every event of the long term event... to cash out within the running long term event whenever it suits the player within the running time of the long term event where it was gifted in... That would be a good compensation for the RC tokens, tools and chests
Good to know honestly was wondering when incompetence from you guys was going to appear, just give the players a decent reward for their time and if any of you who complain are ruby buyers stop buying because you are part of the problem.

Okay, listen, we should get our stories straight, alright? If anyone asks -- and no one's gonna ask, don't worry -- but if anyone asks, tell them as far as you know, the last time you checked, everyone looked pretty much alive. Alright? Not dead.
Nobody is going to space, mate!
Marie Curie invented the theory of radioactivity, the treatment of radioactivity, and dying of radioactivity. In Victorian England, a commoner was not allowed to look directly at the Queen, due to a belief at the time that the poor had the ability to steal thoughts. Science now believes that less than 4% of poor people are able to do this.
"Starting now, if I'm honest, to wonder if you're doing all this screen-breaking on purpose. Beginning to actually take it personally. You know what I mean? Like, it's like an insult to me.""Ohh...! There goes another one. There goes another one. They're not inexpensive. I'd just like to point that out. Um, it seems... unfair, y'know, smashing screens. You could give them to people. Instead of smashing them, unscrew them and, and give them to like a homeless person, I don't know what a homeless person would do, but uh, you get my point. It just seems... and you can't unscrew them either, they're bolted in, but... auh, just stop it!!"
"No, seriously. Do come back. Come back, please."
"Okay, I've decided not to kill you. IF you come back."
"Aw. Just thinking back to the old days when we were friends. Good old friends. Not enemies. And I'd say something like 'come back', and you'd be like 'no problem!' And you'd come back. What happened to those days?"
"Can't help but notice you're not coming back. Which is disappointing."
"Oo! I've got an idea!"
"YES YES! IN YOUR FACE! I GOT YO-ah, nope."
"Fine. Let the games begin."
