Changing Event from Samurai to Nomads Jan 18th 2019...

  We want to address the recent change of the Samurai Invasion. 
  Due to the fact that there's not going to be another Samurai Invasion during January, we've discussed with the team and it was agreed that a Samurai Invasion event will for sure be scheduled for the 2nd - 5th of February! 
  
  In addition to that, there's also going to be a spontaneous run of our well received Collector's event (Winter's Prey version) which will start during the course of today (17th of January) and it will end on the 23rd of January!

  Yeah I had read that, so I take it the season comp isn't correct!
  Just wanted to be certain in case I used my booster and then suddenly the samurai came haha

  If its anything like the past, it looks like they brought forward the khan event (should have been  26th to 30th) in the LTPE schedule when they realised there was a problem (of what sort they hadn't really said, with Sams) and have been using the time khan is now running to try and work out a fix....
  
  Which will probably work that LTPE will show the end of the current, moved khan event on 22nd, then show a sams is coming..... then quietly and quickly end that (with or without camps briefly appearing!) to start the the planned blood crows, presumably delayed a little further into that day by an hour or so.... maybe with beri... though I'll not hold my breath on that happening given past performance when they tried to update it last and it was gone for many months.......
  
  And once they sort the 22nd out they'll then probably try to shoe horn the khan event back into 26th to 30th to make the LTPE run to the correct length..... (they've solved this before... not often the event ends early....)
  
  Seems to me that it is a LOT of hard work to keep to some sort of schedule and all I do is complain about it and then enjoy the fruits of their labours........

  Lets be honest. I do not think that Goodgame Studios really cares about the Samurai Invasion anymore. Perhaps that is why the Samurai Invasion being only once a month has been repeated twice which in theory might be because of the private rvs being added into the game. I would be fine if the Samurai Invasion appeared only once a month every other month, but now it only appears early in every month? What if the invasion has to be cancelled or end early because of bugs? That could be a problem if the Samurai Invasion from now on is only planned to appear once a month. As with other invasions bugs may still be inevitable for Samurai.

  Are you having a laugh?  Well recieved by who?
  
  another nail in the coffin of the game.  And event that is for players that dotn like real PVP.   who like to think they are better at attackign than they really are as no one actually bothers to defend this pointless attacks. so they recieve flattering results.
  Whats more not only is the event in itself pointless so are the prizes, a pointless look item that weakens your player as you cant actually add a gem to it.   Brilliant.  A poinless prize for a pointless event.
  
  If you genuinly believe this is a decent event god help the future of this game.

  My concern about the samurai event rescheduling is they have made no effort to come up with a reasonable substitute for tasks in queens quest while they fix whatever continuous bug issue that they are having with the samurai event. I'm quite sure that i am not the only player that is now stuck waiting for an undetermined amount of time for GGE to repair their ongoing and not very transparent issue with samurais. After 3 repeated events reschedules, my confidence that the planned launch of samurai invasion for the first week of February 2019 is honestly quite low. If the event can't be fixed, at least stop the last minute bait and switch on the calendar ,and substitute an equally challenging event. It is ridiculous for people to have to wait around in limbo due to the cascade effect caused by a defective event.

  Whatever is causing them to take sams out of the LTPE may be related to this Q'sD quest (that's a lot of tokens to win and then spend in an LTPE....) so while they sort it out, it is pretty sure they WILL schedule Sams outside the LTPE (based on past performance...)
  
  I guess they view it as some sort of exploit which is why there is no official forum comments about "Why" they keep moving the event or only scheduling it outside of LTPE.... but it has been going on for at least 6 months now so presumably is disadvantaging a whole load of players in Q'sD equally...... but sure we'll all get through it eventually....
  
  It would have been nice if they had sorted the LTPE scedule so it was clear Sams wouldn't run (i.e. on the event list actually MENTION the LTPE would be incorrect... basic customer comms you would have thought? [not blaming mods - its a money matter so some sort of corporate person should have been involved!]

  Yeah I totally agree,
  I have so many sam tools I'd like to use during the season event, and they've scheduled it outside of it... guess I've got to be even more patient.

  Suited us just fine,we were at war at that time and i suspect our enemys counted on buying fast samu troops
  war ended 2 days later they asked for peace....
