Well they destroyed wheel tickets, why not destroy or comms and castas as well - it'll only cost us a few thou each to get them up to scratch. Meanwhile they still advertise as a "free" game.

if I remember it well, 7 years ago, the game was made to fight other players and try become the best... Bring something new, to make us fight eachother again, instead of those boring events... I am one of the older players, playing since the very beginning... and I seriously am losing interest in the game, due to the fact nothing new and spectaculair happens now adays...

I am starting to feel the same way as you of the game getting boring. The game seems to be getting repetitive with the same old same old invasions and events with very little pvp besides alliances that like to be at war and the Shapeshifter events. Also, like you I have been around for a long time and before at least most of the invasions as well including even before there was a Foreign Invasion added into the game. I do have some decent commanders for pvp and I have spent money on the game as well, but what about the part of enjoying the game as well? This should be important not only for the ruby buyers, but also for the non ruby buyers as well which GGS seems to be going in the other direction of wanting more people to spend money on the game to make it more enjoyable and fun despite the fact it may lead to some non ruby buyers and even former ruby buyers to quit the game.

unfortunately I think this is what I believe the Power system is designed to do as I have severe reservations about it..truly believe our current comms and casts will be devalued as a result

You may have a point, but what about our top pvp commanders and top cast? Will they be devalued as well? Even with the new power system I would hope they would not also be devalued. GGS in theory might have a power equipment, hero, and gems added into monthly events, top 50 for the Berimond event, and/or possibly even for invasions, but so far none of the latest for these relate to a strong pvp commander for players who are level 70+ and only work best for NPC or a specific type of NPC, Bloodcrows, and Foreigners. Also, there is no cast better than the one from Berimond Invasion currently besides maybe some ruby casts from the equipment trader (including the Eagle Demon for example which has some bonuses that are even higher than the one from Berimond Invasion especially at level 20). Now GGS might add power equipment into the Shapeshifter event as well, but my hope is that they do not. The same is also true for Berimond Invasion and not adding power equipment to that invasion mainly because of the cast and one of the best NPC commanders in the entire game that at least some of us have worked so hard to get the full set and it just seeming like a waste of time to get another one that is supposedly better and stronger than the previous one. The only exception to this is perhaps adding this power equipment that is stronger than the ones currently available for top 50 to those who really want it so that way not just anyone can get it and also at the same time if possible replacing the level 8 base food item with level 9 base food for top 100 or replacing level 8 base with 9 base for the very last reward on the last page.

They nerfed the Gems because aparantly going over the 90 range / Melee cap was a game breaker. Costing many players many millions of rubies. And costing others many many hours worth of play to build themselves bespoke comms.
However its fine to go over the power limit if you pay to get their new commanders, or if you pay to top glory ranks or you pay to win storm.

Now aparantly going over the cap is fine so long as you continue to spend!!!! and I guess the same will be true for the power system just another way to devalue what players have.

In the one had there is and should be game inflation, there should be a steady decline in the power of our equipment compared to the most modern comms / casts.

The problem is with GGE they dont do steady, and gradual, overnight they will basically nerf your equipment making it worthless, just like they did with the gems, just like they did with your wheel tokens.

In other words its got nothign to do with balance or game mechanics, only money

Let's be honest.. all this new power equipment etc is just a money grab from gge increasing the gap between the ruby whale and the average player
got offered a power pack but not going to mortgage the house or max the credit card for it.. they have truly lost the plot
they are not listening to the majority of their player base.. news flash.. most on the AU1 server are not ruby whales, this server is dying day by day cause of ruby whales being able to just continually buy and burn players till they leave and now your bringing out packs most cannot afford so the gap widens
And another important things you still do not do anything about is castas.. comms are getting so much more attention and castas are lagging behind..

I agree with Jennyj here, the gap is widening making it harder for the average player who might buy here and there if a good deal comes along when the 2x doubler is around and just happen to have some spare money after everything else we real life we need to pay for. so the ruby whale is getting the better, and stronger commanders while the rest of us struggle with whatever commander or casta we just might if we are lucky enough to get a full long month event or the newer castas you can get from the events. and I say lucky because our progress is hindered by those ruby whales who come and send hit after hit on the average and non ruby buyer player with their shiny new super powerful commanders. we loose all our hard earned/won troops because the ruby whales don't know how to not attack on a daily all day basis.

so the game has gotten harder and less fun for the average and non ruby buyer player, hence why the australia1 server is slowly dying off.

gge is getting bored same events no good commanders no skips, player must have to play by using rubies getting worst gge, very slow game to upgrade ....getting bored

That's what happens when someone starves and loses the rv. Message support with cords, server, and world and it should be reset

Highlander commander with look, no hero, use FC or FC hero and put those gems on.

Also use melee down centre otherwise you gonna get fcked

Idk what their rational is but reality is that GGE was bought and they wanna make as much money off of it as possible while it's still alive.

It's obvious, that they're throwing redundant offer announcements at us, right and left, because they FEEL that by doing so, they can shame/guilt us into buying more stuff.

And it's not like the offer icons aren't already displayed on the screen, right? Hullo???

First off, it's a war game. The events were not originally designed to be the focus of the game, PvP was. The events were meant as an easy way to get troops and tools and the like so that you could continue PvP.

Secondly, ever heard of moving troops to a safehouse while offline? It doesn't seem like so to me.
I myself have started a more regular cycle of PvP, to learn this skill. Fun fact, I am not a ruby whale. In fact, I have yet to spend a single cent on this game. It isn't hard. To get good, one only needs to time their activity correctly, and play well.

I believe it's to mess up bot-using players. I read once (I think) that the pop-ups break the cycle of bots, so it reduces their efficacy.

You are talking to someone that sent wooden mantlets in pvp on multiple occasions against me, and somehow your alliance leader, not a ruby whale, has one of those shiny new commanders called the Master Summoner lol, anyone can easily get Master Summoner on aus1 EVEN YOU.

actually herveus i do know how to send my troops to safety when offline. but the only way that actually makes a true difference is if you are in the 'big 5' alliances. if you belong to any alliance not linked to them directly then you get attacked over and over. it is the reason i have fire castas on 24/7. I know how to both attack and defend and enjoy pvp myself. but i am also a firm believer in the true fair play rules. ones that the well known bullies in this game break and bend often to their benefit. i have been playing this game since before events became the main focus. i was actually a big pvp player when pvp was the focus. but i belonged to a really small starter alliance at the time. so i never had the 80k in defences support. i learnt how to make do with only 5k defence at most. if i was lucky. i also know how to make do with 25k defensive support.

the point i was making is that because the bullies attack all day everyday it makes it hard to gain the decent event commanders. i am no ruby whale either. i am an occasional buyer but i would like to be able to have a fun gae where we can pvp fairly and do events without being bullied do you think Hervues you are capable in doing that? or do you still feel like being one of the known bullies?
