Solutions for World map lag due to Flash Player update
So - as you may have noticed, over the past few days, there have been quite a few problems occurring with lag - this was caused by an update which Adobe released for Flash - which meant that GGS' servers were taking about 5 times as much data as normal when you were in the world map screen - and this impacts all sections of gameplay.
Unfortunately, this isn't something which GGS can resolve at their end - it is an integral part of the game which cannot be changed sadly.
As many of you may know - Adobe flash player is gradually being discontinued - and the switch to HTML5 is being done because of this - as flash is being discontinued, they may well release updates which hinder the use in order to push developers to stop using the software.
I have collated various solutions below - I've tried to make them as explanatory as possible - and I hope that they resolve your issues
