Update: Appreciation Quests - Adjustments

Hello everybody,
After yesterday’s announcement about changing the requirements for the recently released Appreciation Quest “Friend of the true King”, we received a lot of valuable feedback from our communities across all regions.
The main intention for offering such an offer attached to a quest, is the previous removal of the former Private Prime Times and the ruby doubler, as well as other new in-game offers, is one of the overhauled mechanics to reward player activity by creating reasonable offers, which can be redeemed for ruby purchases.
As a result of your feedback, we have decided to adjust the number of points required to earn the ruby doubler to 1,503 points, as opposed to the previously announced amount of 3,000 points.
Increasing the amount of LTPE points is a necessity, since it was too easy to get the ruby doubler in the previous format.
With another future update, we’ll also change the behaviour of the ruby doubler and it won’t be stackable anymore afterwards. Therefore, you’ll have to use the doubler within a specific timeframe as soon as this change goes live.

I am willing to spend but not under these terms and condition , just bring back private bonuses , what you have done now make no sence to me . so again i will save my money until such times when you again reasonable with us .

As so many have told GGE about previous updates...how hard is it to understand the concept of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?"
While 3000 points was ludicrous, changing to 1503 is more reasonable. But, that is one of the only thing GGS has done right in the past several months.
But what is the point of all this (doubler itself, changing season points to earn it) when you just need to wait another +100% ruby offer appears?
The point is GGE have been incentivising players to buy less and less frequently for years, and they still are, and they cant work out why ruby sales are falling. If you discount rubies for buying less frequently then the trend is going to be people buy less frequently ie sales will fall. This is all about having their cake and eating it, they want those that buy more frequrntly to pay twice as much as those that buy less frequently, and they cant work out why this stratergy isnt working well.
Some genius in GGE clearly decided that too many people were getting the 100% discount at the current levels, so they should give it to less people. Completly forgetting that every player in the game can get exactly the same bonus any time they want all they have to do is stop buying for a bit. which is EXACTLY the opposite of what they need to be incentivising. And they wonder why revenues are dropping !!!!

The point with this is that these offers are being removed, it shouldn't be possible to prompt a personal 100% prime time by not spending for 3-4 months anymore.
Instead, more frequent spending is being rewarded, with things such as the ruby doubler, and changes to personal prime times which now appear more often as a reward for spending in the first place, which can now sometimes prompt a personal prime time to start.
The Ruby Doubler is now achievable at a reasonable points threshold, so most people should be able to earn it and benefit from it.

And frankly the idea that you might get offered a personal after you spend on an offer, is a horrible idea I want to know up front if i am gonna get an offer not that i might get one!!!. Would you buy a lotter ticket that Might pay you out if you win? The FACTS remain that the game IS more expensive the more often you buy and as players we all know it. We all know that the corporate line is GGE dont want us to believe that clearly its not something it would want players to know for obvious reasons, but thats the way it works, its the way its always worked.
The ruby doubler is a step in the right direction but only a tiny one, truth is its still only incentivising players to buy once a month when you get the doubler. if you want to buy twice a month you will pay a 100% premium. over those buying once a month. Hardly an incentive to buy more frequently. If you actually want players to buy more frequently you have to incentivise them to do that not the other day around!!!
But i am really only looking to spend my money when i want to spend it and what i want to spend it on , so i am waiting for BERIMOND on the 28th of this month , but sure as eggs are eggs if there in no offer i will wait till next Berimond to do the queen quest or shadow quest .
I play this game for me and my alliance, but i will not spend when gge sees fit for me to spend, so like i said if i do not good offer when berimond starts , i will not buy , so i will have save £80 this month. but i am willing to spend, maybe instead of pop ups , have a drop down menu, that i can select the offer that suits me when i need it .

Taking into account how "good" GGS is when it comes to calculations, are you sure it's not supposed to be 1,502 or 1,504 or 2,001?
Problem is some, me included only see a "personal" immediately after buying a certain amount of rubies and no other ones. Who's brainstorming concluded that was a good idea and is an appreciated reward? Think about it, most folks are on a budget of spending regardless of what it is. So game budget = $50, I spend my $50 and THEN a personal pops up right after that, I can't spend anymore until next payday, so my personal prime time is lost. You can say, "hey, we offer you the personal" all you want, fact is you do it in such a fashion that your valuable customer base is left not able to use it, giving us the unsatisfactory feel of being ripped off...again. And now, the doubler that was a very good idea is being pulled back and/or modified. Not exactly against the raising of the required points, and you did adjust down from the unreasonable amount 1st indicated, although I suspect a bit of a company "ploy" involved to smooth over the changes, but all companies employ some of those type of tactics, so be it. My issue at this point is the time limits of use now being implemented, what? We earned that prize by working and getting the points required, now you want to restrict/reduce its value to us with a time limit. I can't spend today but I may be able to in a week or two, but too bad, "hey, we gave you the doubler". Do you see the pattern here? We are here, we are playing, many have spent and do spend, but I am guessing like me in a reduced amount because of your tactics. But, as I said in another post so bit it, it's all good...my savings acct is growing, will keep my money in my pocket until you figure it out.

na, they need to get rid of a few... maybe take it down to 0 sig figs... I'm sure everyone could learn to like getting a doubler for 0 season points... lol
