in Players ask Players
In my Equipment section I have heroes and lots of hardware plus some artifacts. Can I get at them to use as in "heroes" or are they just there to look cool?

    You're a bit unclear, but equipment doesn't make it a "hero". 

    The people are put into the heroes slot, and they have some positive effects, but also some negative ones.

    They're just equipment like the helmet or sword.

    Heroes, like equipment provide you with some sort of bonus, they are not their just for looks. Heroes are people, pieces of metal or equipment are not people, therefore equipment cannot be a hero
