Here's my feedback:
GGS should be focusing more on reintroducing balance to the game, a reversal of some of the things they've done to market their profitability. Why? Because the gulf between those who pay (like me) and those who do not pay, has become so ridiculous. It is now a completely different game than it was just a few years ago. It may not be politically correct for them to acknowledge this, but it's the truth.
As this gulf widens between the abilities of high-paying players and those who play the game as advertised (i.e. free-to-play), you see more and more of us give you that same feedback. I don't mean those who feel "entitled" to free things, that will always occur. I mean that as a company you've seen the stalwarts and biggest contributors to the game (whether it be via rubies or just community interaction in general) give the same feedback over and over, but it's unheeded.
There is no other feedback I feel like giving at this time since it is my opinion that it only encourages GGS to not address the elephant in the room.

For the last year and a half we have given you feedback, useful feedback and you ahve ignored it all. When updates came along that the entire server protested against rather than remove them as people asked GGE tweaked them just enough to shut up the ruby whales which left the rest of us screwed.
You want feedback so here it is for what its worth which is surely absolutely nothing to GGE.
Restore the game so non-ruby buyers actually stand a chance. The gap between the haves and have nots is ruining the game. There is no point in defending. You have taken away our ability.
Reduce the pop ups that interrupt game play and find a better way for your not so special once in a lifetime offers that recur time and time again.
Get rid of the quest box that clutters our screen for everyone over level 25. By then we get the idea. This is repetitive and not needed. We have a quests book, we don't need this superficial addition.
Stop selling troops, just STOP. What happened to us having to work for and EARN our armies (including special troops.)
STOP selling experience, just STOP. Experience should be earned NOT BOUGHT. You are allowing people to buy their way to huge bonuses that the legends get when IT SHOULD BE EARNED NOT BOUGHT.
Stop targeting updates towards extending the ruby whale gap. JUST STOP. You have already created an unfair playing field. Each additional thing you give them makes it even worse.
Make things more affordable for an average ruby buyer AND THE NON_BUYERS like they were in the past. You have priced the average player out of the game. You advertise this as a free to play game when you have moved completely away from that platform.
Instead of troops, give us reasonable offers for upgrading our bakery AT THE PRICE IT WAS BEFORE from time to time. Many of us held off upgrading a bakery because you told us a better system was coming along. The better system was better for GGE, NOT US. Give us the same type of offers for watchtowers.
DON'T try to buy us off to get a gaming award this year or any year. That was a cheap, disgusting move. You wouldn't have gotten it if you hadn't bought it. This goes back to earning things and that is a two way street.
You want your players back, earn them back legitimately by making this game playable again.
You are letting your greed take over. It will be your demise should you continue. The players keep giving you chances to make this game right again. You need to take advantage of us even still being here before we say screw this and disappear.
But GGS does not profit from these communities directly- it only sees profits from the sale of rubies that affect the boring battle mechanics as important. And to keep players interested in these simplistic battles, GGS relies on updates. Always bigger, always better, always more events, more flashy troops and items, more glory flags then more glory levels. GGS is continually inflating the power and scope of updates to force players to be interested in them, because this is how they make their money. I'm sure that if you looked at a graph of the rubies spent on specific updates, you'd see a big spike when it is released followed by quick decay as people lose interest or are forced to move on to the next update, as it includes an item that trumps the bonuses from the last one.
But this inflation also has the effect of dividing the community, of widening the gap between those who pay and those who do not. Because in the end, the results of those battles do have an effect on the community; on the interactions you have with your friends and enemies. And the quality of those interactions are increasingly deteriorating as that gap widens. And here is the key point: The new veteran deathly horror is not the real content of the game. My friend Spekula, is the content of the game. She is why I continued playing for so long, not because I could increase my offensive power by 14% by grinding a new tower type. By widening the gap between the paying and none paying players, GGS is removing, not adding, content. The stronger the ruby players are, the fewer friends they get, and the more likely they are to leave because nobody is there to share in their happiness.
In order to fix this game, GGS must shift its focus from the continued inflation of power and scope to improving the social interactions. They need to recognize this game for what it is: A social game, like a role-play version of Facebook. But by continuing to simply inflate the game, they are stripping us of our friends and communities, and thereby removing any reason I might have to give a sh*t about how strong my attacks are.
If they do not do this, then I would advise the players to leave, and create a castle role-playing forum. Set up your alliances there and wage your metaphoric server wars over the pages of its threads- They'll be far more fun, far less expensive, and just as meaningful.

Thoughts on the Legendary Update
Achieved title of "the terrible", on the 8th of August 2014, without buying rubies, and while playing in an independent alliance.
Just been stomped by a 5 wave attack from a Legendary level 262, killed 270 of his and lost 2K KG
I mean, whats the point of playing when you are faced with something like that?
I your level 70 you don't attack someone below level 51.
so if you level 70 legend 500 with 5 waves you can attack someone
level say 30 legend who has basically no chance of ever winning attack
unless your alliance sends you 5k extra men.
so one sided this game has become. what is point of defending.
But they eat 5 food. Compared to 8.
to drain your money
Plus are more readily available. Pretty damn difficult to compile an army of renegades vs buying bulk demons which I have already seen some players do.
