US Independence Day

Why should the server Netherlands 1 (and other servers) US Independence Day celebrate by special US soldiers? I find that this is a sort of discrimination for other servers, can they not make soldiers on our server with the flag of Belgium or the Netherlands at our Independence Day? It sounds probably stupid, but this is a little bit annoying me.

    I kinda thought the same. I think it's because the US server buys a lot from them, so naturally to keep them happy

    It's ridiculous and frankly a little bit insulting, why should every server get these bizarre looking units shoved down our throats just to celebrate the U.S getting independence. Obviously that is more important than every other country's independence day?

    I don't care that my country doesn't get its own special units and thats fine but I completely agree we shouldn't have another countries units constantly coming up for holidays we don't even have.

    Is it really that hard to limit these offers to the US server?

    This is strange because GGE is German based. It seems that they would honor each Country and not show special favors to any one country regardless of the amount of money that GGE receives.

    I'm not from the US but I still think it's nice that a German company has done this. Plus it's a nice ruby offer.

    They can also do it with a flag of your country on only your server with a special day I think?

    Yeah, this Independence day thing is pretty stupid. Like, GGE does not even do anything for Christmas, so why even bother doing anything for independence day of all holidays!?!?

    And to be honest, making those "Star Spangled" troops was really lazy. All they did was change the colors and names of Demon Horrors and Deathly Horrors and called them new troops.

    They should have made some good decoration for EN1 too in an offer. UK just celebrated the offical queen's birthday, sort of a national day in UK.

    I like the USA offer dont get me wrong, it is good to see GGE making some offers for the nation the game resides, but i too believe every nation should have some sort of the same treatment too.

    Actually I was downright offended at the promotion. If on the the 4th they had the units on the USA servers wearing red, white and blue uniforms that's one thing but not to have people buy rubies.

    Because its much more fun to buy the stars and strips troops then attack and defeat a American player on the en server with them :)

I am sorry that this deal upset you, but it was one we rolled out universally across all servers, and I am sure there are plans to celebrate other cultures also. Unfortunately, we cannot reflect and implement every player’s feedback in-game. However, we do our best to consider and accommodate all constructive comments received.
