Trash Folder

It would be nice if our mailboxes had a trash folder. Many times, as you go to delete a message, as you click, a new message comes in and that or a different message gets deleted because the original one moved down. Having a trash folder would help eliminate this. If not a trash folder, atleast a prompt saying "Are you sure you want to delete message subject "etc etc".

Agreed. I think the prompt would be better than the trash folder

    YES, WE NEED THIS.

The trash folder, not the prompt, as when you actually want to delete more than one thing, it would get annoying. But it already gets annoying when you delete something then something else pops up and you delete that instead. It's happened to me too many times, and some of them were from other alliances I sometimes communicate with (oh, the old times) or PMs from acquiantances. Battle reports I can live without, espos aren't necessarily important, but I'd still like a little back-up just in case.

    Um . . . I don't have enough titles. I must brainstorm!

One of those weird old players who became all sentimental after leaving the game before they could see dear old Empire rot away even more.

I like this idea. You should thought get a time frame before it completely gets deleted. It does get messy when searching for something.

the prompt would make it take too long to delete messages, but a trash folder would be nice. ^^

Very much in agreement with this - a trash folder would be a great benefit. I believe that the entire messaging system needs an overhaul - add the ability to forward messages, or 'reply with quote', and increase the archive storage space. This is an area that is long overdue for a makeover, and there are a great number of things that could be done to improve the messaging system
