There seems to be a problem with Recruitment Bonuses affecting the Hospital right now, but the team are on it and will try and get it sorted in a timely fashion.
Regarding feasts; Nope, they won't contribute towards the Hospital.

I don’t like this. I will not spend rubies to heal troops but because it automatically saves them I now lost 400 KG because the hospital prioritized the travel knights and demosn i used in the attack over the king guard.
The hospital needs to make it possible for us to decide on our own which troops we want to priorities. Or at the very least make it possible to decide not to save the troops that cost rubies to heal.
I'll forward this on as a suggestion for you Jasper!
The price difference is down to the strength of the unit. If units like Horrors could be revived for coins, players that had large Horror armies would be able to keep them constantly afloat. These units are supposed to be pretty rare and powerful after all.

One thing I wasn't sure about was whether capital holding alliances who naturally produce Kingsguard were being charged rubies to heal defenders they produced with coins, that would seem a little unfair if it's the case as they didn't spend rubies to buy the troops in the first place and whilst I don't necessarily think they need an additional advantage I think they should as a benefit of holding a capital not have to pay in that way as it is inconsistent.
I still think that I should be able to pay coin to heal the soldiers that I paid coin for.

Achieved title of "the terrible", on the 8th of August 2014, without buying rubies, and while playing in an independent alliance.
Yeah, you can delete them for free, poor things :P
The hospital will always fill with the troops of the highest priority. Here's a scenario: you had a hospital that has a capacity of 150 wounded KG waiting to be healed. Now 250 horrors were just lost in a battle so only 150 are sent to the hospital. The hospital will remove automatically remove those 150 KG and 150 horrors are now in the hospital waiting to be healed. If you don't plan to spend rubies to fix them, you have to delete the horrors from the hospital so you can actually heal the next set of troops that won't cost rubies to fix.
**the rule of 3** GGS usually gets it right on the 3rd try. Be patient.

1) Auto-fix troops that cost coins (so if coins aren't an issue, you just leave this permanently on)
2) Exclude ruby-to-fix troops from going in there at all
I think the only way to get these knuckleheads attention is to quit and find something else to do with your life. this friggin game is nothing but a drug we've all gotten addicted to, so do yourselves a favor, save your money, get a hobby, take a vacation, take your family out for a good time, reconnect with the real world and quit hiding behind your game persona. Realize that you are just a fake somebody in here...lol...because in here we're all just a joke to the GGE staff figuring out the best way to suck more money out of your pockets and feed you more of the same drug. Wake the F**k up and go to rehab....If you are playing to just have fun then have at it and know smoking pot may lead to harder drugs. Bye bye, I'm free at last, thank God I'm free at last...

I was not paying enough attention to be 100% sure but I think I saw that I had to pay ruby for healing wolfs. Can you or anyone ells confirm this?
If I am right then all the special troops you get in ice, sand and fire will require ruby to heal. Why did the developers not make the price for these troops coal, oil and glass instead of ruby or at least make it possible to decide to heal them with those resource or ruby. The price of about 25-50% of new troops would be ok I think.
I understand that ggs wants to put a break on players healing a ton of demons but as usual their method is not effective. The players who got massive armies of demons are the ruby whales. I happen to know a couple of them personally and I can tell you they might scream dirty words to ggs but in the end they will just swallow the new price and heal everything with ruby. You will not slow them down one bit.
Basically the only players you hurt with this method are the non and lower ruby buyers. I can’t really think of any method that will slow down the ruby whales but for the lower players just increasing the time needed to heal the demons compared to other troops or making it cost glass will have enough of an impact no need to make them cost rubies.
To triangle yes as other said you can manually delete the troops in your hospital for free.
Vet crossbow is 700 to recruit 5 units
vet crossbow is 800 to heal 5 units.
I simply euthanasia my returning troops now. Hospital is a waste of time and coins.
