Black flag on Sunday if no improvement
This game is now unplayable even for Level 70s. The micromanagement of the resources is too time consuming and frankly boring. Grossly unfair for those not yet at Level 70.
i totally understand GGS trying to make the game have a longer shelf life, but in doing so you are now forcing players to go to other kingdoms before they are ready, it should be down to the individual whether or not they want to go to the other kingdoms and at what level.
im level 70, have been for a very long time but i still have buildings to upgrade in fire and a half finished op in green. it will probably be weeks before im in a position to upgrade anything due to the amount of charcoal, oil and glass i now need.
i just want to ask one question (if i havent already got it right thinking this is a shelf life thing), why?
why have you just made it almost impossible for any player to upgrade anything? be they level 20 or level 70, ruby whale or non-ruby player.
i no longer see any incentive for any player that isnt fully upgraded in all kingdoms

i didnt even know that, WOW, needing charcoal to fix fires???????????????
so basically anyone under level 25 will burn from the time they are hit until they get to ice????
if it wasnt so tragic for those players it would be hilarious

-CHANGE YOUR FLAGS TO RED(solid red-including your emblem)
- NO MORE ATTACKS on active players
-NO MORE RUBY BUYING
this commences immediatley
just the fact that was in the original update shows how grossly inadequate the whole 'new idea', 'new update' fiasco is.
and in no way would a focus group help GGS keep telling us, really?

The additional resources should be needed in all kingdoms for level 70 legendary structures only. That would make it fair for everyone. the only people that win with this update are the level 70 players that have already upgraded everything. Not fair for anyone lower than that level of success. The update should create new challanges for level 70's only, they are the players that need the challenge, because once your at that level, the only entertainment you get from the game is war and battles.
I myself will boycott rubies until the update is corrected. The hot fix is a start, but there are more adjustments that need to be made. Leaving the game will be my last option, but it is an option that is in the table.
Sick and tired of it now, the gap between the ruby whales and ordinary players is utterly ridiculous, to the point that if someone spent enough rubies they could take on an average mid-tier Alliance of non-ruby players all by themselves. This game is the definition of 'pay to win'.

The way it stands, this update is still benefiting the higher level players and alliances, and really hinders the growth of new players. If left like this, I foresee a large decrease in people playing this game.
I am lvl 63 and not yet in Fires. I read another's post who is in fires, with reasonable (tho not maxed) glass production. That player said it would take about a month of building nothing and never being raided to make enough glass to upgrade one lvl5 tower (after the 70% transfer tax). So with 4 castles in GE and 1 in each of EW and sands, that makes 120 towers. Ten years minimum, just to do towers (not including fires, and of course not including the castle gardens I still need to be vaguely competitive with current lvl 70s, or the keep upgrades or walls). Or else, I guess I could buy the 1.5 million or more glass it takes - and the oil of course. Thousands of dollars, or probably 15 years, to get to where I expected to be in a few months.
Does GG really expect anyone to do this? Ten years plus just to do one level of upgrades? Where's the common sense here?
