After 2 years, I am quitting GGE. The game is only possible for people who want to give GG large sums of money for rubies and the latest update makes it even worse.

I'm definitely not buying ANY rubies until the requirements go back to stone/wood for upgrades AND NEW CONSTRUCTIONS. eg; The castle garden now needs glass and charcoal, as do many other constructions. If this is not changed really soon then its "Goodbye" to GGE from me. GGE are just "trying it on" if they think repairs being changed is enough. It's not!!

So, after this little maintenance run this morning, they've provided other kingdom resources as a gift. I hear that as them doubling-down and confirming that they're going to keep this new update. I hear that as them saying, we'll help you out, give you a boost to get you back to upgrading your castle with these other resources.

No. My answer is no, I will not be using coal/glass/oil to upgrade my castle. Looks like it's come to an end. Rather sad state of things.

I want to return all the rubies i buyed last week! Because i dont want to play anymore if this update stays! This is at least what you GGE can do for people who wants to quit because of this update! Return there money true taking back the rubies!

Swords Edge will not participate in the new changes. no kingdom resources should be required elsewhere! red for dissension.

yep winterhold will not be sending out attacks or sending resources from other kingdoms.. I personally will not be buying anymore rubies until this is fixed and I will be on social media sites telling everyone what a rip off gge really is...also we are changing our flags to pink in protest.. get it right gge your fucking the little people. and not making us level 70s real happy.. thibnk about it..

so they think a small gift of resources will placate players
What about players who have already transferred resources between kingdoms and lost 60-75%
as transport costs , ie 5ok sent, 12.5k arrives
No more ruby buys from me

I agree this new update is a game killer for me. I will not be able to continue on due to the need for Outland Resources in Green World. SAd! It is ruining a good game.

I have had something like three accounts to level 50+ (one to lvl70) over the past two years, and after all the previous crappy updates, I am finally deciding to FUCK GGE!!!!!

latest revision does not go far enough. cannot upgrade without charcoal still on green. will not be buying anymore rubies until this gets sorted. THANKS FOR NOTHING GGE !!!

Most of the players in my alliance have already said they will leave if this update is not removed and I agree. The first gift after the new update, generated an error code. The second gift of outer kingdom resources to our main castles was just an insult. What about all the other castles and OPs? So, GGS knows we don't want the update but is trying to make us feel better about their decision by buying us off with a one-time small gift?!
GGS has slowed our game down to a crawl. Not only that, but we are being blackmailed into buying rubies. Lets face it, they don't care about improving the gameplay, only filling their bank accounts. We have all stopped buying rubies. We have all stopped attacking active players. We have all changed our flags to red in protest. The customer is always right and we have a choice. GGS better take a long hard look at what this update has already done to their revenue as many players have already left and more are leaving as we speak. This game was fun but is no longer justifiable. Its just not worth it anymore. As one of my members so aptly put it, "no one likes a moving goalpost."

How unusual. Not one single lvl 60 or above complaining about this latest fiasco by gge. All threads showing beginner as it will not effect the higher players who have upgraded to the max prior to this inappropriate grab by gge on starter players. When will they realise that withour new comers to the game, they will lose everything!!! Come on some of you big players start supporting your junior alliance players. (fat chance of that)

Yes, this is ridiculous, no longer able to upgrade builidings beyond certain point.
This is rubbish.
No to this upgrade.
