Once upon a time... you didn't have to spend money to have a 100% chance of winning...
Once upon a time... ruby's weren't necessary
Once upon a time... I thought GGE weren't greedy fags
Once upon a time... rubyies were cheaper...
Once upon a time... You could win wars against subs of mega-alliances...
Once upon a time... there wasn't ultra expensive god-powered super equip...
Once upon a time... most players had a sense of honor...

Once upon a time is over.

My advice to any new players who either: a). don't want to spend money b). don't want to be obsessed, leave now.

15 months I player this, 15 months of my life wasted on a stupid game. Money + wasted, as in this game, anything less than spending 1k wont get you noticed. You won't be a strong player unless your willing to play at least 3 hours or spend hundreds monthly. This game is well beyond not worth it, for me, I spent months in misery every time my castle was attacked, while I was playing this my grades plumited, as I spent hours on this stupid game.

So, i leave with this: I find that, now matter much I want to, i can't quit.

So my advice: leave now, while you still can.....

    while I can agree to some degree. I have been playing at a lowered level while I make up my mind. If not for the wonderful people of my alliance, or another game we all could jump to successfully, I would be out of here like vladamir!

    BUT I must say this thread makes me think B-U-T-T-H-U-R-T as DD here has been successful at getting in and out of many alliances as he has trouble following him everywhere, and is the most long burning player in a long time.

    You don't necessarily need to be a god almighty player to be strong here. Diplomacy is a power in itself, and it's very easy to join a sub to a larger power which has tons of perks. However, from an independent standpoint, my last month or two of playing has seen a steep increase in attacks from faction alliances.

    true. diplomacy is good, if you have the right friends. I don't. I don't like KoN/MISC, never did, never will. some of there players are polite/ good people. Others are just randomly attacking people, sometimes for no good reason other than boredom.

    Well, it is a war game. I often send attacks when I'm bored too, it's kind of the point of the game.

    I know quite a few people who've made it to level 70 with buying rubies, or are at least having lots of fun in the high levels.

    Not sure what happened to tick you off so much, but so long?

    I look at it as paying for entertainment. If you are getting upset over a few pixelated fires, you're taking the game too seriously. If you don't want to buy rubies, then don't buy them. The game is still both playable and enjoyable without rubies being involved. Stick with an alliance, form friendships and enjoy the game, because that's what it is, a game.'

    Bruh.....

    I've been playing this game almost 25 months and haven't dropped a dime on this game. My grades haven't significantly plummeted, maybe in the first few weeks but not now. Only thing that kills my AP grades are procrastination.

    I agree with you, I want to leave this stupid game but now it is really difficult for me :(

    I slowly but shortly remove my fires with OUT GEMS i spend 400 gems per fight with out BUYING GEMS most the siege is so cheap and rb and daily log in drop gems like crazy so what are u complaining about that most of the gems buyer are in the big alliance so what don't mean they unbeatable. The game end up being very fair the money spender end up being beatable so u my sir have no reason to complain if u don't like it go to another game. If u mad about big alliance join one these many resistance c if u got a shot gl with that but please don't come making any more of these pointless post again.

    The need for rubies is directly proportionate to the number of people you anger. Therefore Daniel needs a lot of rubies.
