Well after being gone all day and looking back on this thread...What a shit show. This is getting taken and ran with in every which way by some people who are not even in FellowShip. Here's what I honestly think happened. Smack holds a large amount of troops at any given time, on top of that he works crazy hours. I believe it is not outrageous to say smack asked Ruler to help him with food maybe or to log on and see if anything urgent came up that he needed to attend to. My assumption is that Ruler saw the MM or whatever it was, I really don't know that said to gear up for a big war. He made a judgement call about what was best and I fully support his call. He then sent out a mass mail asking everyone to build up attackers so that we can be of as much help to KoN as possible. Then I guess someone in FellowShip decided they would send that message on to KoN and or tell all their friends (who ever it was I'm sure they left long before the fires and shit storm came).

This is where the "spying" claim arose. An honest mistake that snowballed into a catastrophe. I understand why the leadership and members of KoN feel upset and betrayed and I can't blame them however I ask that they show some compassion. I'm sure they do not think we deserve any, but at least for our past loyalties. There are good people being burned who do not deserve this. I take full responsibility for any involvement I may have had and I ask that our enemies please devote their attacks to me instead of some of the other players (My bird will drop in an hour). If there's anything we can do to correct this mistake and right our wrong, please tell us and it will be done.

Like many others, you have my respect as well. Takes a lot to put yourself front and center like that. Certainly the best possible way you could've handled / asked for peace.

One of the reasons I play this game is for the people I have met. I love the blonde jokes and innuendo in chat. I like chatting with people who have sent a good hit on me, I like the race for rvs. My mother has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. At this moment she is in the hospital and I am praying she makes it. That being said, I have come to depend on my alliance members saying something stupid, or funny or endearing to lift my spirits. We have been declared on by over 25 alliances. That is ok. We have had all our rvs stolen okay can handle that. We have had our castles hit so many times that it will cost thousands of rubies to fix or many hours. Can handle that. But now we are being massed with goal to steal ops. So with that I take it the goal is to essentially take us out of game. Is that what this game has come to? It is no longer just a fair (maybe somewhat unfair) advantage but a war to get players to quit. What true honor is there in that? At a time when I can really use the friendships in my alliance, you have decided to extinguish us. Okay you have proved you are bigger and badder but honestly everyone already knew that. I am at a loss as to what kind of people you are or what fun is in it for you to attack over and over castles that are obviously beaten. We asked what you wanted your reply is that we were part of a family that betrayed you. Okay got it. You have made your point. But really what point are you making in driving players out of game? As the socially inept dissect my message, please reflect on what purpose of game is. It is a game. Many of us play cause we like the people. We battle for fun but not destruction. We become friends with those we battle. We learn from each other. But when goal is total obliteration, whole fun of game is lost.

It started as a punishment, it developed into bullying. I get that KON is done building, they have everything so war is the only way to have fun. Very cool, I like it, just do it in an honorable way. What fun is winning a game if it's one sided?
Now, If KON would have declared and selected which subs go to war with which alliances so everyone has a chance to actually play the game, that would have been an honorable way to do it. Right now our alliance was declared upon by 21 alliances of KON....where is the honor in that? Now, if 1 or 2 kon subs that were evenly matched with us declared, that would be different because that would have been a fun challange win or loose. But 21 declarations of war????? That is flat out bullying no matter how you look at it and there is no honor in it whatsoever. besides, we had no relationship with fellowship ever, we're just being punished because of association. It's all a bunch of BS bullying imo

Ruler Goo Your a Good man and an awesome friend, Thank you for all you've done for Fellowship and helping everyone around you, I believe you truly understand what this Empire game was intended for and I for one am proud I have had the opportunity to build, fight and War with you, You have shown leadership at a time when many have cut and run, shows your "True Grit" !
