Ruining espionage reports on tools

    They don't want to bump this or show attention by responding.

    I'd still like to see this function added back into the game, and I would like reasoning why it shouldn't be, and why it was changed please.

    I can understand Players' tool numbers not being displayed, but at least let us see NPC Towers' tool numbers.

    i think its taken alot for us to get to the point where we realise (or have been told somewhere along the line) that the removal of the tools numbers was to do with not being able to see an actual players full tool count, rather than simply making it harder to hit rbc/ towers.

    i dont think we can have one without the other, i dont think the coding would allow it. not sure as never learnt coding.

    This update is encouraging more aggressive tool wasting now, it aint accomplishing the objective in the end.

    If you think that you need to weaken a players defense stats you arent going to send 1 waster and spy after all day. The person will just go all or nothing on the tool wasters instead and than spy you after they all land. you might even repell their espionage just before the tool wasters actually hit to verify if you kept the tools up or not.

    This update doesn't stop tool wasters. If they want to waste all your tools they will do it. It just hurts anybody who doesnt have their RBC's maxed and hurts anybody in events

    Bingo. Their logic is as flawed as anyone who doesn't use archers and ladders to attack.

    Another update in the game and this has not been fixed, and neither has a CM commented on behalf of whoever made such a decision

    I understand players ( Although it doesn't help a ton as if they spy and see tools they will still send) but removing tools from towers does them no good. It just makes them more unpopular. I can understand updates like the foreign invasion, Storm Islands, etc those events that get them some cash but this event dosen't get some anything and makes them more unpopular. No benefit on either side.

    i am with eric this is bull. the tool count before gave players a new ability to be able to learn functions of the game. which in turn made non ruby buyers have the ability to stand alongside ruby players but by removing this. a non ruby buyer now has little chance. also attacking rbs required a skill now it is just load up beat a number and send. way too easy. and many of the bonuses cannot be overcome by resource tools alone. this is where the sac troops came into play.

    I do want it back in the game. But I doubt GGS will ever revert it back. So that's why sometimes in life we have to compromise and look for something new to counter this update. Usually when developers buff a type of weapon in their game, they buff another type of weapon a week later to suppress the other weapon from being a problem to other players.

    The thing is, ggs doesn't DO compromise. They do whatever makes them a quick $, not caring. You want a compromise, fine show us rbc tools numbers, not player tools. That seems fair, and since it's fair I'm sure that's the reason ggs won't consider it.

    how can you not see the tools numbers it is clearly in the center of the spy report in the middle eg 7 tools

    I think that robber barons should always have 4 tools in every slot. Perhaps give the robber barons less troops, but do give them sufficient tools.

    Small attacks to waste tools is a tactic which should be removed. I have got a simple solution:
    If the attacker kills less than 1% of the total defenders in a wave at a side, then the defender doesn't lose any tools in that wave there.

    Then it would no longer matter if you see the number of tools in the spy report.

    I'm merely showing you that GGS doesn't really have to respond to this thread. It'll eventually die and the couple of players who bump it every now and then will leave the game, killing this argument forever.

    I don't mean to sound conceited, Eric. But the Prophecy has nearly been fulfilled.
