  you can not increase the number of fields you can upgrade

  To have more soldiers, simply upgrade or build more farmhouses in your castle, Also building a bakery and by increasing your public order can also boost your food production.

  You can't, but you can increase your Public Order (PO for short) which increases your production and you can build more farmhouses which also increases your production but each farmhouse you build produces 25% of its predecessor. When capturing an Outpost (OP for short) you can also pick certain OPs that give you better food production than others people generally refer to these as food OPs, food OPs are the ones the have the food icon on the right of an OP on the world map, there are also even more special OPs the give you even more food these special OPs are raised from the ground and have the food icon on the right

  I would disagree about making a bakery. its simply not worth it
  650 rubies to reduce 5% of your food pruduction really. and 1250 rubies to upgrade to lvl 2. lvl 2 only reduced 10%
  i think lvl 1 should reduce 20% or at least 15%

  Bakeries are one of the 3 most important ruby buildings you can buy.
  Imagine you have no bakery and produce enough food to support 10,000 defenders. Now you buy and upgrade to level 4 (20% reduced consumption), just shy of 12,000 rubies. If you time it right with construction discounts, you can bring that price down to probably 8,000 rubies.
  And now your troops only eat 80% as much food. Now you can support 2000 more defenders, for only a few weeks looting, max. 
  
  A max level 8 bakery lets you feed 40% more soldiers, and it is not too difficult to loot the rubies necessary for a level 8 bakery everywhere. A net 40% increase in troop capacity is insanely useful.
