    I am massively against this update myself, i think the best thing would have been to not include rubies in the tributes then it would be a fair addition and a nice reward for smaller alliances winning a battle or a war, the auto war thing is the major problem and should not be added it will only cause more problems for big alliances.

    The amount I have paid in rubies has amounted to the thousands of dollars.....if this goes into effect guess what.....no more buying of rubies by me!

    I agree with what everyone is saying but if we think about it, the best bet would be to attack small alliances as you know they will not be able to retaliate or must pay to stop attacks. Small alliances will never grow and new players can never carry the flag of the game. The game can only be successful if it promotes new players joining and allow them to grow in the game and level up. This update will demotivate new players and soon will force them to leave the game. Would it not be better if this was put to a consultation first? This will allow merger of alliances together and to take most of their resources to the one they are merging to. Is this what was the intention of GGE?

    Silly Idea . money grubbing GG again . I suggest that all the leaders get together and boycott all attacks and ruby buying until GG see some sense . It will stop the flow of money into GG ,

    is there no 1 with a legal education who can check if this update is legal????
    I still think that the ruby part is elegal because it is real money.

    I dont post much but I have to say this update is beyond stupid! two scenarios:

    My low level members attack a low level member in a small alliance. We are at war with them. We have 35 members with various levels, they have 3 members all level 10-20. Ridiculous!!

    As one of the higher level members in my alliance I have to attack some higher level alliance members. I vary my attacks to avoid wars but now I send 1 attack and am at war with a major alliance. Sorry but this will stop me attacking people now and now there is no point playing the game. So instead if increasing attacks it could reduce them. GGS please listen to people.

    Most alliances on uk1 seems to be doing the following:

    NO attacks on ANY player
    NO Buying Rubies
    NO sabs on ANY player
    NO donations of GOLD and RUBies

    If we stick to it especially No Buying Rubies - GGE will be forces to reconsider this terrible update

    GGE a bunch of alliances will boycott ruby buying and many players will leave the game. You just signed your own death warrant...

    The last five updates have been crap. GGE is losing player fast. Soon only players will be non-ruby buers and what good will that do GGS?

    Our leader put something very similar into effect when she first saw this horrid update. I am sure she will not mind a copy/paste of the MM she sent to everyone.
    Restrictions for Now: (Posted 5/14/14)

    The latest update is horrible! Until further notice No one is to send an honor/gory attack on anyone in an alliance! Looting burning castles is OK, RB and towers in ICE/SANDS is ok.
    Do not send sabos or spies at anyone in an alliance! sabos on a castle not in an alliance and burning is OK.
    Do not buy rubies!
    Do not donate to the alliance funds! No coins, rubies or resources!
    Do not invite new members! Someone could come in here then set off several wars if this goes in effect! We trust everyone here now! Lets keep it that way!
    GGE is attempting to extort us! We earn rubies then buy them! Now they want to take a cut to stop wars! This is our hard earned then bought rubies they want a significant part of! This will be exploited! We will not be a part of exploitation!
    We will have someone monitor the boards

    Any people in Germany could stage a protest outside of their Headquarters. See if they can ignore that.
    GET RID OF RUBY TRIBUTES
