    I'm less critical,I like the ides but the tribute should be optional and a certain amount of glory(depending on both the alliances level) has to be gained for the tribute function to be used.The glory cost required is always higher for the winner by about 30%

    This is the way of war. The Person, country, or in this case alliance who wants to end the war sues for peace, the person, country, or in this case alliance who is being sued or is being asked to end the war names a price. The parties negotiate, come to an ageement.Then the payment is made and peace is restored. This is a WAR game HELLO stop whinning about bulling it's a GAME.

    this is unnecessary- people like freedom of choice, that way, they can at when they need and not be when they don't want to be. whether war game or not, people don't like being forced.

    The tributes update is bad for one reason-- you buy rubies for your game play, one of your alliance members attacks unsuccessfully, thereby triggering automatic war, the other alliance demands the max 50% tribute of all your rubies to end the war! Are you all getting where I am going with this? Rubies are bought with real money, demanding them as tribute is extortion/blackmail! Seriously not a good thing and I dare say we all could end in prison if we partake in the tributes. This is way deeper than we just don't want the update.

    we have to buy the rubies with real money, not play money, but legal tender. To have rubies taken forcibly is the same thing as being robbed at gunpoint, it is theft, pure and simple. GGE must be smoking crack if they think players will stand for this foolish and disrespectful update

    Just because you are at war doesn't mean that you have to attack or end it. All this update will do is to make the present declaration of war redundant. For example. # Alliances A,B,C A starts a war with B. B starts a war with C and C starts a war with A. The only real effect this has is to cover all the world map with red flags.
    As I see it war will become redundant because every alliance will be at war with every other one

    Who said we needed a broker to help end it. We can negotiate a peace agreement without having to pay a middle man for the transferring of it. If an alliance wants war reparations, we can start shipping our wagons off full of resources.

    I said it before and I'll say it again- if I had invented a game where people buy imaginary rubies with REAL MONEY I would be looking after it a LOT BETTER than they look after Empire

    Sending gold/rubies to other players



    NO!!! NEVER!! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! This would lead to a massive number of players using multiple accounts to transfer currency to their main account and to players demanding rubies to stop attacking someone else. There are also a number of legal issues connected to money transfer which means this will never be added.

    You don't HAVE to pay to end the war, it's a possibility, if both sides agree, to end the war without anyone paying.

    Will be off on the update day and after will stay in the game for a while, if they still aren't feeling OK (don't remove the update) then I will be considering of leaving the game.

    Bullcrap...it is between the parties involved, not a forced situation. After WW2, the victors have been responsible for the nation building of the country they conquered. The pressure brought to bear has been on fairness and recovery-as to not start a world-wide revolution- not punitive war reparations. War reparations that proved only to start the biggest world war in history. Forced reparations have not worked in history, and they will not work here. Please don't talk about things you obviously know nothing about.

    What you have right now is not whining, but the beginnings of a revolution against GGE. It's definitely part of the process.

    I strongly agree!!! GGE will no longer be voted best server game & most of its 50,000,000 followers worldwide will most probably quit the game altogether...What happened to that old saying; If it aint broke, don't fix it!

    If they don't change it all back to how it was, I'll be throwing in my cards on this game!
