The Price of Failure: The thorn vines called by the Necromancer proved to be too much for the brave attackers. The vines kept them at bay, and the remaining Cultists cut down the intruders one by one!

Outside The Mountain, Elfangor extracted his upper half from the tunnels and tore into the Templar force. His great strength and hot fire was the end of the Templars!

With the threats gone, the Necromancer turned back to the bones of the dragon. Later the spell of resurrection was completed, and the final dragon joined the ranks of the undead.

The Dragon Cult, the Necromancer, and their army of undead (along with the Shadow Mercenaries) tore through the Living World like an arrow through the heart! Many many lives were lost only for the bodies to be brought back as zombies. These zombies were used to guard all those who surrendered to the Necromancer. These "survivors" were kept in many small camps in either The Desert of the Burning Sands or on the Everwinter Glacier. Life there was hard, but most thought it was a better fate than the undead one that their guards had.

The Shadow Mercenaries were allowed to go about the lands as they pleased, and they were awarded minimal control over the zombies. The warrior-race thrives to this day, though they don't know the luxury the Necromancer's family does.

The Necromancer ruled all the lands except the Eastern Lands, including Berimond (the battles that took place there were particuraly ferocious!), and he was the Emperor over the Living and the Undead!

The Dragon Cult, along with their newfound "gods" faded back into the Fire Peaks to practice their devilish religion, and to this day they remain there...

This is how RP should be. A strict narrator is a must. Logic is appreciated along with creativity. I really liked the Attributes and the Challenges (which definitely need time limits).

Let's start this RP up again. I'll narrate. 5 player minimum. Describe your character. Each of you have a traveling retinue of ten two handed swordsmen and ten heavy crossbow men.

You're all visiting one Lord Sirinial. His castle is the largest in and is the center of power for this barony. You are knights of his court. Each has been given a small fort. Describe your home.

    I'll join this one :]

My character is Hanzolo, a knight famed for his determination and persistence

His fort is mediocre, not too special. It has a few trenches dug around it, and some towers. The inside merely contains the bunks, a kitchen and a washroom.

Attribute: Hanzolo, used to the meager surroundings of his home, does not need much to get by. People will look to him when things get rough and comfortable settings are not available.

    I'm in
Where you been Elf? Been missin ya

    Back sorta on topic.

    Viktor

Viktor's castle is dark and poorly lit, with black and purple drapes found in every hallway and every room. Beneath the castle a large torture chamber can be found. The walls covered in blood and horrifying paintings that drain the blood from a man's face. Axes and other torture devices can be seen on the wall opposite the chamber door and are the first thing a torturee sees as they enter, if their heads aren't covered that is. Viktor's castle, Fort Dread, was built in the midst of a forest, and has a moat with sharpened steel stakes at the bottom.

I think that fort is a little too much. Just take out the wet moat, maybe? Wooden stakes for the dry one, and no oil? Remember that it's a small fort for a knight.

Attribute: Viktor knows how to get information out of people. If you catch a living prisoner, Viktor will be able to help.

Lord Sirinial turns to greet his two best friends as they enter his audience hall. "Hanzolo, Viktor! I'm glad you've come to figure out this problem with me. For now, let us catch up on recent events while others arrive."

The royal gestures to a door, and everyone goes through to see a smaller room with a large table taking up most of the space. There is room for at least 6 people around it. Lord Sirinial sits and motions for the other two to sit next to him. He calls for wine and food. "Now, what's been happening in your neck of the woods? I haven't heard any large reports from your area in the east."

    I am in:

Lord Fall, former intelligent leader known for evenly balancing his focus between economy and other attributes. Now has been dubbed as a knight after his glorious stone castle was raided 6 consecutive times and was abandoned. Now live in a fairly small castle with a growing military and population, though public order is now a struggle due to common sabotages. Fairly fit, lanky, favorite weapon is a double edged axe known for slicing through up to 3 men. Prefers leather to steel in armor.

(Sorry for waking up a pretty old thread)
