1. Do troops you send to support an ally fight with bonuses from the commander you send with them, the castellan of the castle they are sent to, or both? Basically I am wondering if I should be looking to stack plus damage gear on my 'support' commander or if it would be wasted.
2. Is there any way to move or abandon my castle in the everwinter glacier? I, like others from what I've read, get farmed there pretty regularly without any realistic chance of defending myself and I'm fed up with it. I would prefer to skip that content rather than put up with a system that just seems broken. Is there any way to do that short of quitting the game entirely?
3. When I attack a castle, does the fight move to the courtyard once the first wave breaks through a wall or not until after the last wave fights? Let me give an example. I attack the right and left sides, the right side wins on the first wave but the left side is defeated. Do my second wave attackers on the left side continue to fight the remaining defenders at the left or do they join the right side attackers in the courtyard, where they will then fight the remaining left side defenders together?
Thanks in advance for the information!
1) Soldiers that you send in support will fight under the effect of the castellan that the defender has.
2) No, once you have your castle in ice, it's not moving anywhere, and you can not abandon it either.
3) The fight will move to the courtyard once all the waves used in the attack have passed through the walls.
Yes, same as thorn king, and nomads.
The glowing outposts are what are commonly referred to as "shiny" outposts. They have the advantage of having an occupancy of 8 instead of 6 on their primary resource. Which means the same number of resource buildings will produce more resources than a non-shiny OP.
