Thanks buddy! Yes, I am back in international 1 as the Grand King of Sparta. This come back in not a permanent thing, but while I am here we are trying to rebuild Sparta into an active and fun alliance, and with the shared fundamentals of the Sparta of old. I am hoping the ideals of that time hold up in today's game. If not, I guess I wont be much help to my Spartans :P I had been logging in occasionally and I can tell they are a great group of players who put in a lot of effort. I have a lot of fun activities and ideas planned for them, hopefully they go for it.

Unrelated - I was given a ticket yesterday on my way to the lumber yard for "failure to stop at a stop sign." I think the real reason was, "Driver was a young male and we ticket all young males." I definitely stopped at the 4-way stop, before taking a right-hand turn. I was the only car in the intersection with no other cars in sight since I was on a back road at the time. This is the second time now in under a year, that I have been pulled over and lied about and then handed the ticket. I got out of the first one, and will try for this one too, but it's frustrating ya know? Are cops like this anywhere else, or is it just here in Upstate New York?

new York cops are the worste

they are always looking for a way to ruin your day

just the other day im going home from yonkers and cop pulls me over cause I passed a car accident but I had an MD on my liscense plate..( law in new York says you stop for an accident if you see someone hurt if you have md on liscense plate) I didn't k=see anyone injured though..

any way nice to see you back Dillon ( im sure you have it better than most living upstate hehe)

It must be all of NY the cops around here are real a$$holes as well. Good luck restoring Sparta to glory! Politics have changed a lot so you have a lot of catching up to do!

The title of this thread itself speaks much about you. Are you going to call yourself the "Owner of Sparta" again?
That was really classic and we all miss that (facepalm). Remember that time that you tried to have me thrown out of the UC chatroom? Or how bout those times that Sparta was destroyed for the 2nd or 3rd time because all the leaders decided to disband Sparta... Can we look forward to that again?

LOL.. umm, no clue who you are, but calling me mad? obviously you don't know me or else you would see that I am VERY happy to not call myself the leader of sparta (aka, the farming family). I have personally had to retrain hundreds of sparta members when they came to my family or to our coalition because they have no clue how to defend. Why is this? because they never went to war against big alliances. And why is this? Someone, I wont name names of course, always spent their entire time negotiating PEACE in a war game...

Thanks for the warm wishes guys, yes I really will have some serious catching up to do and a short window to do it. I can't believe all the alliance changes and shifts in power I heard about today. Hichri and Ghj, I missed you guys- really hoping I get a chance to catch up with you soon and see how things have been. Ghost Driver, I appreciate that you comment on my threads- I do wish you would be a little more kind. I do enjoy the Brett Favre references however

GermanBerserker, absolutely you can come and burn me any time. I have been building defense soldiers in case my members need support, but if I see you coming I will pull them away. I gave away my outposts when I retired and I was burned many times during retirement so there is nothing really to defend. I think you are joking, but if you are serious please message me in advance so I can notify my alliance. GB, please message me some time in game to catch up, I would love to hear from you. Somebody complimented you to me some months back. I wish I could remember who it was now; they were very kind words.

I should probably mention my intentions for coming back...
I have come back to help a friend whose health was suffering. When Hazel (FantasyWench) died, I took it hard and was kicking myself for not even realizing she was in such poor condition in any of our conversations. Then I started thinking about the other people in this game I cared about who made very obvious hints about their emotional states or health concerns and I couldn't stop thinking about them or Hazel. I was not there for these players as much as I should have been, always trying to keep myself as separated from the game as possible. I have a long ways to go before I can call myself a good friend to any I have met from this game. I don't know that anyone desires to come back to this game after truly leaving it (you will understand after you have all left) but I am here for now and I want to make the best of it and do everything I can. And no, my wife does not know I have come back. I hope to keep it that way (she would kill me) and I am trying to play in a way that will not affect my family life, but still accomplish as much as possible in the game. Sparta is not 35 divisions anymore, so that might be possible. Please message me in-game if any of you want to catch up or need anything, or if anyone in international 1 would be willing to help me out out of the goodness of their heart, I would VERY much appreciate any help I can get.

After reading this I am kind of mad at myself for making you come back, knowing your wife would get really mad about it...
I cant tell you how much this means to me my friend, friend forever!

However I do not wish for you to get in any troubles back home in real life!!!

Having said all that, I know you have set things into motion and thank you a lot for that!
