increase communication GGS

that however is not my issue. my issue is that yesterday you denied all knowledge of metros being deleted, allowed us to continue capturing, and gave us 4 prime times to stock up on rubies to build them. then today you tell us they will be deleted and sure enough they are gone, you obviously knew about this in advance but continued to allow us to spend rubies, coins and resources on it.
honestly GGS its things like this that make people quit the game:

A company who lets it's customers spend money on something they know will no longer exist tomorrow. This must have some legal ramifications.
It seems pretty clear that you are attacking me here for the post that i made yesterday.
I still stand by the statement that i made in that post. Nothing had been confirmed to me when i posted that so why is my post wrong?
Regards
Ethan
But you work for GGS Ethan! Are you telling us they didn't notice until this morning? Then did a fast fix? nobody will believe that. It is plainly obvious to everyone that this was noticed yesterday, can you please confirm this? This is something that is VERY urgent and important to your customers, please make it a priority. Did GGS let us continue to support, fight, spend Rubies, waste resources and coins, donate REAL MONEY to players and stay up late to defend the metropolises and not say anything? Please answer this very important question.
Metrogate...
because an update this big must have been known 24 hours in advance at least. and surely somebody in your department would have told you there were issues that were going to be fixed. How about not planning all those prime times today, 4 in a row is not "random" and this is less than 12 hours ago. you would have definitely known about the update then.
at least we could have been told it was planned so people could just not attack them, instead we were told they were completely fine and to grab them while they were going
Baldrick, i have already made the comment that i did not know about it. I assume that a fix was being prepared yesterday but the information about what was contained in the hotfix was not given to me until this morning.
Nobody actually said they were completely fine. Infact if you read through some threads you can actually find posts where it was suspected they were a bug.
Regards,
Ethan
You're missing my point Ethan, you, as an employee of GGS and the interface between the company and their customers, it is your responsibility to know these things. Stop using the excuse that they didn't tell you to fob us off. Accept responsibility instead of passing it on to people we have no contact with.
The thread is also about communication. Allright the facts are there, there was a bug and you have to fix it.
I understand that.
But the actions AFTER the fix are non-communicated.
Only the message: The owners of a Metropool will be contacted.
That is so little information.
People want to read, that GGE has thought it out. All the question about " losses" , compensations, must be communicated and not only to the onwers of a metropool
Too much is spended ( time, material, soldiers, coins, rubies ) to only say: " The owners will be contacted"
Off course everybody is now complaining , because no actual info and therefore communication lacks.
If you must do a bugfix, you must considder the consequenses and it seems if you have no communication plan, and that you now are working on it, but yeah, the hell is now broken lose.
Regards,
Who is responsable of the missing comunication?
Posting it in the forum is not sufficient. Players play, they don't spend all day reading the forums.
So why did ggs not send out an email or at least a forum announcment to all saying something like this: we have found out there is a mistake in the game resulting in to many metros spawning. Please if you captured a new metro in the last x hours do not spend any more resources and rubies on your metro until further notice we are currently discussing the possibility of deleting those wrongly spawned metros. Of course if we proceed we will provide a compensation for the resources and rubies you already spend. We apologize for the mistake, if you have any questions please contact support.
If you read it says that they were noted as bugs. idk where but ethan said it...
In this case we'd like to speak to the people who made the call before counting up resources, coins, rubies, time and real life currency were used on these.
Why not tot up what you are taking away before taking it?
Have the person who made these calls come and tell the masses of people who put alot of their time money and effort into acquiring and building up this 2 day long glitch....not to mention those who helped who didn't own a metro.
Have them tell us......fair?
Isn't it your job to forward our complaints to GGS? Well why won't they do anything?
Either they just don't care, or something is going wrong with the messaging.

The way I understand this part of ethans post is that somewhere on the forum it was speculated in a thread they were possibly bugs. This is a whole lot different from putting a warning in an official announcement or an e-mail.
