    Hello Wildbill,
Excellent post bro :). But brother first of all i would like to compare stats of KG defense and Vet. Defense as you forgot some points that have advantage to KGs and you said there is not much difference :)
Scout of the kingsguard (Ranged) Vs Vet Bowman
    1)Ranged Defense:139 Vs 132
    2)Melee Defense:64 Vs 59
    3)Cost per Unit:108 Vs 135
    4)Travel Speed:32 Vs 27

Sentinel of The Kingsguard (Melee) Vs Vet Spearmen
    1)Ranged Defense:59 Vs 52
    2)Melee Defense:150 Vs 142
    3)Cost per Unit:121 Vs 160
    4)Travel Speed:32 Vs 26

Also as you mentioned there is significant increase in Power of KG attackers there is also a speed boost that is 28 :)

yes, that is correct I believe. It has the palace, nothing else. Best to capture one with someone who has a TON of rubies. lol.

Well I heard that you had to build the palace.

I'm getting a ton of messages about the capitol. And I'm doing a lousy job of replying to everyone. So, in the interest of time and space, I though I'd post an FAQ. Apologies to everyone who has messaged me and I have not replied to. Also, all (or much of) this info is available elsewhere in the forum, so apologies for duplication.

    1. How do you get a capitol?

There are two ways. 1 - get lucky or smart and be right on top of a new capitol when it spawns. 2. - be a strong member of an alliance with a capitol and have them decide it would be best if you held the capitol. That's how I came to hold the HIVE capitol. Hopefully HIVE made a good decision with this . . .

    2. What does the capitol do?

There are two primary effects to holding the capitol. The most important is psychological, and that is that your alliance is powerful enough to hold one. Then 2nd impact is that EVERY member of your alliance, regardless of glory ranking, can recruit both offensive and defensive Kingsguards. I personally think the defensive KGs don't make that much of a difference. The offensive ones are substantially more powerful, but you can recruit them without a capitol by achieving "terrible" rank. For comparison, here are the primary KG statistics vs. equivalent vet troops:

    attack power
    KG melee offense: 132
    vet melee offense: 118

    KG ranged offense: 121
    vet ranged offense: 98 (!)

    defense power
    KG melee defense: 150
    vet melee defense: 142

    KG ranged defense: 139
    vet ranged defense: 132

    3. What is it like to hold a capitol?

Well, it's really cool to have done something that very few people in the game ever do. That being said, there is upside and downside:

    1. Upside - You have an extra location at which you can recruit troops and build tools. The capitol cannot produce resources however (other than food), so you have to ship in wood/stone for anything you want to do.

    2. Downside - Many. In war, the cap will be constantly sabo'ed. You have to repair the damage. Also, you must be prepared with a very large stock of armorer tools in case of a serious assault. And you must have very good equipment to stop such assaults.

    3. Downside - this is the one that annoys me more than anything. All support from your alliance mates stationed on the capitol shows up FIRST in your travel list. So if there is an incoming you have to click down through 20 pages of stationed defense to get to whatever is actually going on.

Hope folks find this informative. Good luck to all! and

    Best regards,

    Bill

I havent held the capitol before but i have been in an alliance which help the capitol. The capitol has the best defensive troops in the game and has the third strongest attack troops and it looks pretty sick. The coordinates of one are normally 657 657.

I highly, highly doubt that. I think it is a million. I don't think the storage can even hold 12 million.

Actually, I saw a picture, around 9 million of each resource. But of course, that was with the help of the master builder.............

And yes, the royal storage can hold that much. I guess.

Why are the numbers on it messed up then? It shows a single number, then two numbers, and then 3 numbers. With some misplaced comma in there.

Hello the numbers arent messed up. That is our alliances blog :). It is indian place value chart, unlike international place value chart it has hundreds, thousands, ten thousands but not hundred thousands. Hope you get me :). Also people who say about we are lying and the storage cant hold 12 million. Just FYI, ask any capital holder that the capital city has special storage known as royal storehouse and it is not 12 million but it is 899k :) and royal storehouse can easily hold that

Alright, thanks for clarifying that, I thought it may be photo shopped. Learning it is put in Indian place value is helpful, thanks. Also I thought it was 1 million, that's why I was skeptical. Does it hold 12 million exact? Also, I heard the storage doesn't store found, only wood/stone. Is that also true?
