Railways

I don't know about this, but I thought it would be a good idea to be able to build railways between your castles for quick and cheap transport, and it could also automatically run the resources over. It could cost about 500 stone 350 wood per mile, and be locked to level 30 plus. Also you could extend this feature so alliances can have support networks by rail, carrying soldiers instead, similar to WWI , used by the French, Russian, BEF etc.

Since they would be private railways you would not have to spend as long programming but just add a button on outposts/main castle for building a railway, and then replace it with the transport by rail, or make it an option on the resource transport menu, which would be easier to program.

I would find this very useful, because I always have overflows of food and 1 resource at my outposts and I can use the food for a feast at my main castle and the resources for going to an event or everwinter glacier. It is currently quite expensive to repeatedly send market barrows back and forth.

    I believe it is a war, medieval times strategy game. So, no railways.

    the suggestions get weirder and weirder everyday
    this game is set in medieval times so railways are not an option

    Well maybe he ment like build a road lvl-1 lvl-2 lvl-3 like first a dirt road then wood then stone and make it go faster like lvl1= 125% speed up market barrows or something like that would be cool.

    Last time I saw, the first railroad in the world was first made in 1807. 1807 is not medieval times....so no for me.

    I never believe anything on what that website says because I or anyone can easily change an answer on this website. I do sorta of agree since there was other links and all.


    How can we interpret this into the game? Also there mode of transportation is it going to be sent by ship/vessel, and some players here in GGE doesn't have rivers near them, so no need.
