    I think the idea could potentially be an interesting addition to the game at least for lower levels. In my opinon you could see stealing resources as a form of sabotage. Sabotaging is already a job for the in the game so I don’t see a reason why we would need a totally new character for this.

    What if I'm short on coins? Or I don't have troops? Or I'm not in an alliance(I know a good friend of mine who is Lvl 35 and active yet he still refuses to join an alliance). What should I do then? Just wait?

    I think it is a bad idea. It allows low level players to "farm" high level ones. And people would make it complete kayos. For peeps on borderline food, a small alliance could take all their food and buzzinga! they['re army is nothing!

    I do not like the idea like it is, perhaps if you let people see who sent the attack it would be better but otherwise you could just take from beginners and such

    In the op it is suggested that you can only steal stone and wood no food. I agree with this and would solve the possible problem from an alliances trying to steal all your food.

    I am not worried about low levels terrorizing high levels with stealing. Until you reach a certain level you don’t have a full set of spies. High levels have better guardhouses and a research to make them even better. Therefore I think the chance of failing a steal when a low level targets a high level will be very high. Of course that will depend on the ratio between the risk and the amount of guards a player has.

    And besides this I don’t think a lot of low level are willing to risk their spies getting discovered on a stealing trip by a high level who could crush them in a single fight without losing much troops.

    Did you even READ the original post? If you DID, you would see that it's said wood/stone. Nowhere did it say FOOD, and what are the chances of getting caught by a high level player with fully upgraded guardhouses?, VERY HIGH. This for lower levels to lower levels mate.

    If your spy is caught you normally knows who sent them? Yes so in this case the spy is spy/thief is caught and the owner must then pay ransom/fine in coin. If the owner does not have coin the spy thief starts to do his time. Each day the coin amount gets less until paid or time is up. Meanwhile the owner of the spy/thief losses the ability of the said building. The fine/time is related to what he tried to take.

    how would the spy carry the resource? This should be made in line with what troops can carry

    FYI I'm saying that it would make it fair if they cost a lot, I used robber barons as an example

    Why not have it as some sort of thing were you have to buy?

    If they get caught, they won't return.

    Maybe if you increase the numbers it could be like a Plague Doctor

    Or you could make a new building called warlords tent, or something, which is a separate building that is like the barracks and allows to to have a certain number of raiding captains and soldiers who have high spped and looting capacity, low defense and attack, and are expensive but the actual raids, which would be low casualties for the foe and high loting for the attacker.

    Don't you think that a spy running around with a bunch of loot would be a whole lot easier to catch too?
    & just how much loot do you think a few spies could rly run off with?
    Like I said from the first it's not the spies job, we have marauders that are well equipped to handle the situation, so leave it to the pro's, don't try this at home kiddies!

    lol i agree with you on the suspicious part but still it wont be a spy just part of the tavern like plague but a different char.
