its only 2 alliance sharing at the moment and probably not, would make those 2 incredibly large targets for the rest of the server.
most likely justice (s3cret_'s alliance) or EASTERN EMPIRE (nuwan's alliance) will get it, as both of those alliances have VERY big hitters, (nuwan managed about 80k glory in under an hour last tourney) so there would be no point trying to compete with them, both alliances are very powerful with respectable players who deserve a capital. Just hope GGS will throw away the population rule this time to avoid a complete stalemate, otherwise we're going to have to find our own ways of making the server interesting

Sounds to me like you need at least 3 Capitals, really. I would think those 2 strong alliances would end with both, if there would be only 2 Capitals.
It's true that the number of Capitals are linked to server population, but to have only 1 Capital on a gameworld really seems silly to me.

The whole thing about getting more players to unlock 2nd capital is a bit of a catch 22. The server (especially the great empire realm) is stale, people are leaving on mass. The capital has been secured very well and wont be going elsewhere anytime soon (and why should it the amount of time and money invested in it is insane). So many people are leaving the Australia 1 server. There are a lot joining too but unless something happens it will continue in one big loop.
It is in goodgames interest as well, a new capital will generate more activity and increase player retention which means one thing. MORE RUBIES.
Most of you know me & I've spoken to most of you in the server at some point. For those who don't - I helped build & I control the capital - however the palace was a team effort, with the help of many of the old Sep players and Overlord players, (& other alliances such as The Godz/Legit) most who are now in the seps or have left the game.
I've been giving all this some thought and I agree with some points raised. I have come to the conclusion that:
1. I'd like to help generate more fun and interest back in the game - as it has become a little stale & boring in Aus 1
2. Whatever we decide to do, it needs to be done fairly - we have rules/guidelines that we all agree on
3. I'd like the majority of players to come to a general agreement on how we go ahead
4. We can do this until a new capital comes along with population increase
5. We don't need a new capital to make things fun - they arn't going to add one, the only way is population - so everyone needs to come to terms with that!
One of my ideas is that perhaps we organise alliance vs alliance competitions - two alliances at a time (must be willing) to go to war for a certain time period (to be established) & the alliance that comes out as a clear winner (we have to decide how we decide a winner) - I will stay with them for a certain period allowing them recruitment of KG - which will give their alliance an advantage
This said I believe we should have some guidelines/rules - it depends how hard you want to make this. Perhaps some people would say - an all out war which included rv taking, or maybe not?? What's everyones viewpoints?? - but only people willing to put this at risk/wanting to play the game as it is intended would be involved. This would mean strong team alliance work - you are going to have to work together to defend each other.
If we evened the playing field by allowing the up coming alliances with KG then they would have a chance at winning tournaments with larger alliances which may have become lazy over time.
Eastern Empire are a very good example of an alliance who understand the game well & prove that you don't need a capital to be a strong alliance in this game.
I'd say we pick the top 10 alliances and allow this opportunity - before the war games start - I'll spend time at each alliance to allow everyone to have sufficient KG.
However - I still need to protect my own interests. If I let you all recruit KG at the same time, that is a threat to me. So it would only be so many at a time. Also I'll need a neutral alliance to stay with, perhaps I make the seps the neutral alliance (this alliance doesn't go to war), if anyone in the seps wants to participate they join the OL alliance, people in the OL alliance that dont want to participate join the Seps - with players that are geared for defending my interests - just in case. If anyone decides to take advantage of me because I'm doing this, I'll can the lot and will stay with Seps/OL.
I could continue to do what I do, and we can just wait for a new capital - but I'd like to share what I have with more people to make it a more enjoyable experience for all.
Let's hear some positive feedback - I don't want to hear anything negative. If you have grudges against others, I don't want to hear it - I'm pretty neutral to you all & I've never had any negative dealings with any of you.
In order for this server to grow, we need to give opportunity to the up coming alliances too. Please let the bigger alliances on the server know about this so they can comment.
* Everything here is just an idea and thoughts. Nothing will change until we all are happy on an agreement.
can u pls disclose the number of players required on the AU 1 serveur to trigger a 2nd capital popping up? Is it just number of players or is it related to player levels too? Thx

I really think this server needs a big event like a new capital or war to mix things up a bit
Several alliances could be put against one larger
for example Frankenstein and great nations versus Justice or EE versus Justice and Frankenstein?
What you say is a very good idea and personaly i love it. I do want to make one change. I would have you join a diffrent alliance besides Seps/OL. They should be fighting each other or else they will just team up like they always have. They need to be pitted against each other or the only way anyone will win is if it comes down to EE and Justice VS. Ol and seps. You cant have one of those remain neautrual either because, lets say that Spes stays neutral like you sugess, all of OL's weak Players will go to Seps and the strong ones from seps will join OL and then OL will be unbeatable.
I am not saying you join a bad alliance but not one fo the best alliances. Just some sugestions.

I agree with Aaron. Realistic analysis, great and generous proposal, plus cool consensus-building effort. We could potentially be interested, strong preference for disciplined war, i.e. no RV stealing. The difficulty is how to determine a winning alliance group. The greatest increase in alliance glory scores? other idea?
as there is not many big alliances on the server some smaller ones could combine their stronger players even if it is only temp so that they have a good chance in a war.
But some rules would have to be in place. like I think RV stealing should be out but apart from that anything is good
But it is appropriate to keep some pacts and NAA's
Like kevinp suggested and arranged war between many alliances could be interesting.
