Recently saw a post about the History of Int1, and was wondering if anyone who has been around for all of it would mind doing a 'History of USA1'... This game has been around for two years I take it, and I've only been playing for about five months, I hear names like 'The Collective' and hear about Kas without knowing what it all means.

Anyone mind explaining that would be appreciated.

The server USA1 is about 1 1/2 years old. I joined 6 days or so after it opened. To write the whole history would take a very... very long time. Back to when BB had under 20 members, and players like federicodana and iguantica (I think that is how they are spelled) still played and dominated.

Long story short, BB dominated, took the best players, things fell apart, The Unconformed became a thing that stood up to BB, that didn't go far as some didn't like leadership and various issues, Regulators were formed out of players from The Unconformed, they actually worked for a while, in the mean time big alliance started to form. War broke out between Regs/Levi against TL/BB/D8. During this time, Dream Team was formed after Majestiic took the Regulators capitol with him, they were pounded by the force of these alliances joining together, and surrendered capitol to Regulators. D8athGods, Crimson Reapers, Bloody Blades, Team-Legends, The MISC, The Agency, Regulators, H.I.V.E, Leviathan, and a couple others became TCA (Total Collective Alliance), policed/monitored server. The MISC broke off TCA because didn't like the policing and spies were discovered, etc, etc.. So war with TCA broke out, as well as war with KoN (Kingdom of Neph). MISC were defeated first time around, but ended up on top against KoN. Then about a month later they took a newly spawned capitol from a BB sub, new war broke out (at this point TCA was still around and as BB was member jumped in) and it was a little lax, MISC ended up winning with Dream Team at its side, they kept their capitol, while BB split from TCA taking the TCA capitol that was collectively owned with them. D8athGods who were a 65 member alliance merged with Regulators (D8athRegs), TCA fell apart, KasSoloMC was basically the leader of the whole thing as his alliance had 28 subs or so. All went separate ways, with TL, BB, MISC, D8Regs, Leviathan, holding caps. MISC has dominated the server since, skip forward a little, HIVE says they will merge with BB, but BB had plans against HIVE, VeloX (BB cap holder) moves into HIVE, they immediately kick him and capture the undefended capitol learning BB plans, dooping BB, who tried to recover, but HIVE had 120k defense in a flash. During this time or slightly after new capitol spawned, an alliance sponsored by both HIVE and D8athRegs takes it (HIVE of D8Regs), KoN (Kingdom Of Neph) start moving around capitol after tensions growing, war breaks out between the two, some behind the scenes deals made and broken by both sides, HIVE jumps into the war when I think it was BB joined in. D8athRegs bailed to protect their own capitol from Dream Team that were now Team Evolution. PTR PRIME goes to war with MISC, Team Legends is now Prime Legends, they lose the war, PTR family disbands, PL goes to TL again, and PTR PRIME to PL as a sub. MISC jumps in war with HIVE /HOD because HIVE jumped in (don't ask..), after a few weeks HIVE of D8Regs takes their best 10 or so players and jump into HIVE, WITH THE CAPITOL, giving HIVE two capitols. The war is still happening now, and TE/D8athRegs war is still happening I believe, and that is where we stand.

Yes, on USA1 it's "Bloody Blades."

Not sure if this is an important enough one, but Old School merged with Dream Team which then became Team Evolution. Specifically it was JonLee21crt, StumpyAlaskan, and a few other strong ones.

The only thing I'd put as an edit is the timeline of the Regulators merging with D8. That occured after the first Misc vs. TCA war after Misc destroyed the Regulators.

Not to sound like a massive twat or take away from your post Eric, but I think a lot of what you stated isn't too accurate, and more word-of-mouth kind of conclusions.

Now I don't know the details for this, since it was after THE MISC joined, but there was a rather long cold war between Leviathan/Regs against BB/TL/D8 since Majestic left with his capital from Blades and joined the Regs. The roots of the TC (The Collective) forming were because Majestic had a falling out and took the capital with him and formed Dream Team - which gave a reason for both Blades and Regs to join together, along with the rest.

Something left out entirely is that Nephillim and MISC duked it out shortly after. Due to some allegations about IRL personal threats and what not, we ended up getting kicked out of TC, and had to fight them as well. While the war with TC was a draw at best for us (lettuce be cereal, misc lost), we still ended up on top against Nephilim.

In comes the 5th capital and WW4 kicks off. Dream Team were quick to show support, standing with us from the start as did some other smaller alliances. And after a month or two of more battling, Nephilim joined our side due to their beef with TL prior and to honor their pact with DT. HIVE were supposed to be apart of our fully sick OG crew, but did not join us for their own personal reasons.

I could go on, but there's too much to cover.

Nice story but missing a lot of facts, Hive did not trick BB for the Capital, BB tried to a ruse and failed. Hive found out about it and kicked him out of the alliance then took it.

It was BB leader at the time the capital lost so easily.

Ah, that's right. Couldn't remember whether it was before, during or after, but I knew it was around that time.

Yeah, there is a lot to cover. Sorry, tried to condense it (still ended up covering a few pages if in a word doc). Actually completely forgot about KoN and MISC war, and the makings of the TCA is pretty accurate from what you have said as well. Just forgot to put that in, I thought I had.

I tried to condense it, by saying you guys somewhat dooped them, getting the capitol in the end. Which is fairly accurate, because they thought you didn't know about the whole deal in them, but you did and ended up catching them on it.

Overall I was happy with what I wrote. Obviously I am missing some things like as someone pointed out, Old School and Dream Team merging, and as Calves said, TCA true beginning. Anyone with anymore important info that we here may have missed, or clarification in simplified form, please feel free to post.

I think the player black company(who is now in ruins) should be noted since he dumped over a million rubies into levi (now sydicate) which allowed them to expand out and turn into superpower. their new found strength inspired kassolo to start up the collective...

I've felt all along that this game is a fascinating social experiment. Beyond the hard-coding of the servers, and the stated, official game rules from GGS, quite a few notions of what is "acceptable gameplay" and what is "honorable" or not have arisen.

It may have originated on other, older servers, but on USA1 it was advocated by the Leviathan alliance and The Collective as a whole - the "10 level rule" whereby outside of wartime it's considered not cool to attack more than 10 levels below one's current level, up to level 53, the thinking being that at level 42, access to Veteran troops can be had, the same as is true for all higher levels.

Nothing like that is in the official rules, but that it can be considered such a hard and fast rule by so many is interesting. I agree, in principle, with some of the common assumptions, and don't agree with others, as with "not taking RVs and Outposts" from players. I mean, Duh - it's a wargame....

And so it goes.

Yeah, the 10 level rule has really become standard in many alliances. Of course never written in stone, and exceptions such as level 50+ are put in place to make it more accessible to level 70, or high level 60 players.

And I agree. Never know what us Canadians are hiding from you... Deep within our white igloo's..

It's also fascinating observing how the smaller alliances perceive the bigger alliances. While not many of them post on the forum, word travels fast and its interesting to see how fast people jump onto a bandwagon just so they're out of the firing line.

But back on topic, a topic I'd love to hear about that isn't too well known is The Creed's falling out with Leviathan, and D8's capital from Crimson League (or Glory?). Maybe even Gauvin's sudden desire to be known and his apeshit recruiting scheme too.

D8 simply declared war and took it. and if i can remember team legends got their cap from legion of honor, back when bluelife ran it
