Overthrowing the leader

For the smaller alliances, people should be able to vote there leader out of the position, if he's bad, or no one likes him and he won't give up the position. In addition, if the leader becomes inactive, it takes forever for someone to be appointed a new leader. Ik the deputy leader just came into play, but i still think that overthrowing the leader would be a good idea.

i agree to a point, but this would make a lot of alliances very unstable, what if a bunch of new members came in and overthrew the leader that everyone liked?

nothing good about this idea.when you spend rubies to start an alliance you become leader. leader is the only player who can't be kicked. hence leaders can invest rubies without fear of loss. maybe if the idea was that alliances track ruby donations forever and players got to vote the number of rubies they had contributed.... but still no. it fixes nothing and breaks many things.
if you want a different leader and leader doesn't want to quit, find an alliance that has a different leader.

Think about it. The leader is usually the one who founded it. Like it or not,it would be unfair to boot the one who made the alliance with his own rubies and resuurces.

If you have a bad leader, why did you join in the first place?

If it is a small alliance like 2-5 members why not just leave its not worth overthrowing something as small. My advice if mad just leave.

I agree I am a leader and putty fair to my alliance, if they don't like a rule they can vote it down, but we just expanded to double our size and got flooded with a bunch a new players, I would not like to be voted down by someone that want to be leader of an alliance that they know nothing about its history with others around it.
(which cause half the rules in the first place)
