what the best way 2 put ur castle % at and the % on soldiers.

castle 30%-40%-30%

    Max tools.
    The 0-0-100 is for the 30% bonus in the keep. Set it when you are offline. PM me if you dont understand the 30% bonus.

    This will not get you the bonus in the keep. This will give an even fight in the keep.

    Yep it will give you an even fight in the keep assuming of course that you hold that flank.

    Wrong. Dont listen to that level 28 baron.
    a 25-50-25 setup ensures that there is no fight at the keep. Make sure there are tools everywhere in every slot and 20/80 melee/ranged. This setup has helped THE MISC successfully defend against 1040 man armorer tooled attack while losing 200-300 of out own troops w/ruby tools.

    25-50-25 spreads your forces too thin. They can easily win the flanks, and since you can have more men in the middle, they could win that as well. I have gotten this advice from level 60+ players.

    And think about it. the only reason a person is attacking you is because they want honour. they are bound to have a large army, larger than yours. otherwise, they wouldnt attack at all.

    Do those level 60+s belong to alliances that have a capital?

    Well, we have defended against several 1040 man armorer tooled attacks in our capital that way. level 60+ noobs you mean.

    There is only 1 capital in au1 which belongs to another alliance. My alliance is ranked 10th (though it should be 9th because there is a 1 man alliance at number 1) We could be higher but our goal is not honour but to help lower level players.

    And also I said only to keep it offline. Online, change it to suit the battle formation. Offline, at 0-0-100, you have a much larger chance to keep the battle at the keep neutral.

    I said in a previous post I made a mistake. It does not give a 30% bonus but it gives the defender a higher chance to keep the battle at the keep neutral.

    However off all flanks lose you lose 30%

    a 0-0-100 formation is best for when offline, the last thing any defender needs is to have a -30% bonus in the keep... even more so when you have other players giving up there troops to defend you... focus on winning one flank and take the battle to the keep. for online the 25-50-25 is often a good way to def (depending on the incoming attack) however, sometimes it is best to use 50-0-50. this gets you the 30% bonus in the keep and dis-guards any attack tools they put in the middle. there is no point splitting your troops on the wall more than you have to. your wall has a maximum number of troops where as your keep does not

    I always defend one flank when off-line, with 100% of one type of troops. I'm not going to say which flank or which type of troop in case anybody fancies attacking me :)
