attacks from resource villages

How to attack from Resource villages??(assuming i already have some troops stationed there)

    When sending the attack, instead of sending it from your main castle, click and in the drop-down list choose the name of the appropriate village.

    From an RV you can only attack. You cannot send a capturing force from an RV. Perhaps that's what you tried?
