Truly moving, Smithe, but is it really over?

(The Templars attacking Ettinboah were successfuly repelled, despite their initial success. All of the Aztecs and the peasantry of the three nations left and returned to the Aztec's homeland, but not before a curse was placed upon the leaders of the people who had fled to Spiritus (Mainly Elfy). Once they landed they enjoyed many, many years of easy living. Then, disaster struck. All humans who had fled their homes in Empirium, including any creatures brought over, lost their memories and former abilities as they all degenerated into primates, mindless and squabbling in the dirt for their survival amongst the ruins of the grand cities they had built during their lives as humans. Tensions between the Templars and Aztecs continued until a higher power brought peace to the warring factions, who grew to be perhaps the closest of allies.)

(OOC: A more fitting end for backstabbers, in my opinion.)

The curse never reached Spiritus because the great magic wielders of Empirium and Nane, along with some very powerful dragon-magic from Hamar, had created a mist upon arriving. The mist blocked all magic from coming in or out, and it also confused any ships that came within. Vessels would sail in, and the next day they would sail out at the exact point they entered. The island nation thrived.

(OOC: You are just going to keep being an immature jerk about everything I post, so you are on my ignore list. I can't see your posts and I imagine you can't send me private messages either. I'm not going to even bother reading your latest garbage. Your character is a monkey now, and I'm happy with that. Once Domovoi gets back I imagine he will want things changed around, mostly the things that you implemented and my post about Spiritus being a nation of primates. I hope you grow up sometime soon Elfangor, because until then everyone will only do what you want them to do because they know you won't leave them alone until they do.)

I don't understand how controlling a simple...game means that Elfangor is an immature jerk.

But I guess you guys just ended the game,so let get this thread closed ;)

Hmmm. Maybe it is time to close things up. However, I am not happy with this conclusion, only because I can't have the game's ending disintegrate into squabling between two people who should be friends. Now listen up.

Elfangor and Hammer, I do not consider those who fled Empirium to be backstabbers. They were scared folks who had lost their homes and city in an overwhelming attack by an evil force. They are refugees only, not traitors. There is no curse and there is no mist. The refugees are not wrong to try and rebuild.

Smithe. That was a bit fast, the way your guys just overran every single city, army, and armada that came their way. You have to give the other players opportunity to retaliate. Otherwise it's extremely one sided and absurd.

Now as for the game's conclusion. Actually, it was supposed to end with Blazac being restored and caging up Gorzad, but it looked like you guys still wanted to play so I tried to extend the plot a bit. The confusion is my fault I should have consolidated the plot and been more diligent in coming on here and ensuring it was carried out. I'm trully sorry for that. If I have opportunity I'll hop on to the next one.

Additionally, if we are voting on the next narrator I'd say that since Elfangor narrated the last one (and a little bit of this one :) [thank you for covering me]), and I mostly narrated this one...well I nominate Hanzolo and Sgt. Hammer.

Hanzolo would be good because he seems to understand the inner workings of each character's mind excellently, guessing their motives with efficiency.

Hammer is on often, and he has a great deal of creativity and vision.

In general we could all use a little bit of loosening up. We all want things to go our way, but these stories don't work unless we give each other opportunities to respond. It is mandatory that we work together. Keep a level head. Hammer I encourage you to give Elfangor another chance, forgive him. Elfangor I encourage you to forgive Hammer as well. Let's work together in this next one, set aside our differences and work together. If you want to dispute a point take it up with the narrator or the offending player, but always, always, do so with charity. The goal is a better story and greater camaraderie, and there is no need to let anger get the better of us.

Let me know when the next one is started.

Very well spoken, Dom. If we are voting, I vote for Sgt. Hammer.

I suggest using the "zombie apocalypse game" thread for the next story.
