searching sand fortress

I tried using search function. Typed sand fortress. Got one topic and it didnt seem to have anything to do with that.

Does anyone have a link to a conversation about how to attack a sand fortress successfully

    Try
    wave 1
    left 20 mantle with 47 range attacker
    middle 10 ladder 20 mantle 156 range attacker
    right too many, kill them in courtyard

    wave 2
    add more range attacker in left and middle

    wave 3
    add 50% Melee attacker and 50% range attacker in left and middle

    This is a test run
    u can improve it later

    Melee attacker, use as high as possible, e.g. Kingguard knight , vet macemen, 2hand
    Range attacker, use as high as possible, e.g. kingguard crossbowmen, vet crossbowmen, heavy

    the lower the soldier, the greater the loss

    @anando- there are hundreds of posts about this and the search function found nothing when I typed in sand fortress so what am I to do. The first pages here didnt have it either

    @everyone else- any other input how to take down sand fortress?

    i am sure there are tactics which are better than mine. i still test my tactic to decrease losses.

    my current tactic is to send 100% veteran macemen in all 4 waves to left flank and mid flank . use 10 ladders left and 10 ladders + 10 rams in mid..

    My losses were 60 but i am sure to make it lower.

    when I attacked the middle section didnt show any gate defenses. Just wall defenses in all 3 sections. I thought this must be some unusual unique featuer of sand fortress that they didnt have a gate. But you guys are using rams on the middle section. What is the defense value of the gate that wasnt appearing on my screen?

    also why did you send 10 rams to left?

    i only have veteran spearman, bowmen, macemen, crossbowmen ....

    which version of GGS a u playing ?

    please let me know, i need to update my version

    you can do research for all 4 veterans if you have Research Tower , it is not in GGE version os something LOL

    SORRY :D i meant 10 ladders left flank and 10 rams +10 ladders in mid..
    I am sure i would make less loss with mantlets ;)

    but there is option to research veteran swordman

    u have veteran swordman, it is the 5th type !! and i cannot find where i can do that research

    oh, sorry my english words aren´t accurate. in that case i mean´t veteran macemen.. i couldnt find in my mind original name of this veteran :D

    i already go into research tower to check and find i do not have it

    that is y, i keep on asking to try to confirm and check whether my computer has a bug
